Does the PSP even have enough power to play N64 games?

SNES's Doom runs at around 5FPS on my PSP.

Also, didn't F-Zero X run at 60FPS on N64?

Believe it or not, the PSP does. The PSP and N64 processor types are really alike (go ahead and look them up on wikipedia).
So at 333/333/166mhz speeds, it is completly likely that we will one day reach 30 FPS (or higher) on commercial N64 games.

Yes, Doom on SNES runs incredibly slow. Slower then 5FPS for me.

And yeah, I believe F-Zero X is the only N64 game to run at 60FPS.
