Rehash of a lot of material but a clean cut guide that should be easy to follow for people who refuse to read the other tutorials. I am going to start linking this one when people ask where to start.

GAME FOLDER: ospbt_052 (OS Pandora Battery Tool 0.52) TIMEMACHINE (Dark Alex' Time Machine v.1) GAME150 FOLDER: KeyCleaner (I don't know the purpose of this one) PSPFiler (PSP File Manipulator) GAME380 FOLDER: 150KernelAddOn (version 2 for 3.90m33; version 1 is no longer needed) ConfigCleaner2 (I don't know the purpose of this one either) IDStorageMng (To manage the IDStorage) MUX21 (will hold multiple updates on a single memory stick) I'm not going to pretend like I know what they are all for, but that was all of the extra software I found in UPMS. Personally, I use the Lite version because it has everything I need to install 3.90m33 update 3 on any PSP all in one shot, and in less than 5 minutes total time, no matter whether it's a Slim or Phat, even TA-082, and no matter what firmware version it is. It's so easy a caveman could do it! I realize not everyone will have access to a PSP running cfw, so that's where the second post comes into play. I got the original idea from someone else (I can't figure out who), then I expanded on it further. P.S. NextGen_MMS_Lite has no ties to UPMS. It was built strictly using Time Machine v.1, DCv5, OS Pandora Battery Tool, and 150KernelAddOnFor390v2. P.S.S. What do you mean by "elf menu?" I only installed the extra software from UPMS, I didn't go too far in depth into UPMS. |

Hey guys! Check out the first post for an all new file. I took what I learned and put it to good use. By the way, I never used U.P.M.S. at all on this one. I didn't find anything useful in it; well... unless someone has a fake memory stick ;).
This may be a somewhat biased opinion, but I think this post should be made a sticky. If anyone agrees with me, please say so :twothumbs:. Thank you everyone, Phrotac |

So, does that mean you like it, or does that mean you think it's too easy and that it should remain difficult? I ask this because your posts seem to imply that only the people who can figure out all the cryptic guides and sift through the thousands of posts deserve to have hacked PSPs.
Please don't take this the wrong way. I understand how our true feelings aren't often reflected very well in these forums; and how our posts can be misinterpreted or misunderstood by others. For example, I may have simply misunderstood the intent behind your posts. So, I was wondering, could I be so bold as to ask you to please download the 200kb pdf guide and give me your honest opinion of it, whether it be good or bad? I'm a big boy and I can take it. Besides, a little constructive criticism only leads to a better product ;). I do thank you for your input :mrgreenthumbsup: |
