Default Diablo II: Lord of Destruction on a PSP SLIM (2000)



Controls:
■ = Left Click
X = Right Click
▲ = Alt
O = I
Analog Stick = Mouse
Directional Pad Up = F1
Directional Pad Left = F2
Directional Pad Right = F3
Directional Pad Down = F4
R Trigger = Shift
L Trigger = W
Select = 1
Start = 2
Home = Esc

HOW TO:

1 . Download PSPDisp v0.2 HERE

2. Install PSPDisp v0.2 (follow one of these videos) -

Windows XP:

3. Set up the controls -
Go into:
My Computer > Local C > Program Files > PSPdisp > bin > app

- You will see a file named RE4.control
- Open that file as a notepad document.

Now erase everything in that file and put this inside:

Save file and exit PSPDisp v0.2 if open.

4 . Setting up the Program -
Open PSPDisp v0.2
Right click on the PSPDisp v0.2 icon on your taskbar and go to...
> Screen and select Fit Screen
> Screen > View Port Size and select 480 X272
> Quality and select Highest
> Control and select Diablo II

5. Setting up your Desktop -
Right click on desktop
> Properties > Settings Tab
Change the screen resolution to 800 x 600

START DIABLO II FULL SCREEN
- make sure Diablo II resolution is set to 800 x 600

6. Now Connect PSP to your computer -
On your PSP go to games and start PSPDisp
When it starts up it will ask if you want to connect via USB or Wlan
Select USB and you should see Diablo II full screen just like in my video

To play Diablo II Wireless -
Follow steps 1-5 above to set up the program.

1. Right click on the PSPDisp v0.2 icon on your taskbar and go to...
> Options and select Use Wireless LAN

2. On your PSP go to games and start PSPDisp
When it starts up it will ask if you want to connect via USB or Wlan
>Select Wlan

It will tell you what IP and what port to connect to

3. Right click on the PSPDisp v0.2 icon on your taskbar and go to...
> Options > Wireless LAN settings...

4. Type in the IP address and port that is shown on your PSP.
NOTE: You might need to Enable it.
To do so right click on the PSPDisp v0.2 icon on your taskbar and click: Enable

START DIABLO II FULL SCREEN
- make sure Diablo II resolution is set to 800 x 600

Now you should see Diablo II full screen just like in my video.

In the video I have an edited the PSPDisp v0.2 EBOOT

I added:
- Diablo II Game icon
- Diablo II Background
- Mature rating logo
- Diablo II Sound

Yes you can.
I only showed Single Player because I didn't want the video be too long.

haha, I gave ya credit at the bottom of my first post When I saw your thread about being able to play WOW on the psp I HAD to figure out how to play Diablo II on it. When I figured out the program and got Diablo II to play full screen I had to share my info.

anyone got this working under linux?
I'm using ubuntu and it's just not happening with wine

if the source code open, I could just compile it myself unless it's actually platform dependant

anyone know if that's the case and where I could download the code if it's available?

I think its actually platform dependent, but I don't really know.

the problem is that i can't for some reason copy the game files to my psp.
even if I manually select the path, the copy files button is disabled.

Could someone just upload the psp files to rapidshare or something and link it here, then I could see if i can take this further.

If all else fails, I'll just use virtualbox
