All my kids have PSP 3001, Hen worked perfect for all 3, sorry for Newbie Questions, but usually stay quiet due to some people being smartasses, this forum seems pretty good though, good people here, so I asked Newbie Questions

I'm a total newbie at hacking the PSP, and I’m in the reading/studying/planning phase right now. I'm planning to buy a used PSP I could hack, and after finding this, I think I'll get a PSP-3000, and hope that I can install this CFW on it.

Can somebody list me the requirements and details of this? What are all of the requirements to make this work? I know you need ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler R2 installed first. Do you need a Pandora Battery or a Magic Memory Stick to make the ChickHen or the CFW to work?

From what I read, there's a chance that the PSP will freeze and shut down, and you won't be able to install CFW on it anymore. And I think something gets uninstalled after turning off the PSP. When do these happen? Did I read right? What are the things that I need to look out for?

I have had no issues with freezing, take couple of times to get Hen to work, but sometimes that happens, everything else went smooth, just need to figure PS1 Games out

For ps1 games they'll be installed in the game folder. You'll have, for example,
--GAME
----FFVII
-----eboot.pbp

Pretty easy.
