There's no need for you to run gen since u already have a custom firmware just update the m33 version to m33-6 download from here http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1646

and which step is better: get OFWs from 3rd party sites and install them via an external hdd or memory card? Or... download them via PSN? I have a 3k PSP with 4.20 firmware..

D/L from here vv, copy extracted file to game folder(%:\psp\game\ ) on your psp. Plug in the charger, It will need to be above 70-70% charged (leave charger in to be safe)

hi! to all
after many hours of search i got 5.03 hen to work,when i get to 5.03 Hen-a my psp loads & every thing correct just dont reboot with the custon firmware.
can somebody help me please .
i have psp2003 witch was running on 4.05 when i got it upgraded to 5.00 and 5.03 to get the Hen-a and now is not consistant
this is my secund psp i f*** last one .
let me consgratulate all team for the good job and many thanks for all untill now i allready have good hours of fun and many saving for it keep up

hi csr, i heard that 5.03 gen got some problems with psp2k but not with psp3k. i think there is a new cfw enabler just release, it is cfw enabler 3.01. it is ok for both 2k and 3k psp. it loads 5.03M33. cheers!!

There is an updated 5.03 hen-a out and it works now with the 2k without problems. Or use the CFWE 3.01 which runs a lot better on the 2k.

I used this excellent tutorial and it works just fine, only one, pretty big problem.. I can't get any psOne or PSP backup titles to work. I've been trying a couple of tutorials around here with no good result.

I placed the file(s) under a separate folder in the GAME folder, for example, I could start this PSOne game but after the playstation logo came up and went down, it just stays black.

The psp has not frozen or anything since I can access the PSbutton menu... but I can't get any further than that. The PSP backups only come up as corrupted data... any ideas?
