Im having a problem getting ChickHENR2 to boot on my PSP 3001 5.03. When I scroll to the images and attemp to load the slim.tiff image my PSP seems to freeze then shutdown without rebooting. I have read and re-read the readme file and all the pages in this post. I even tried a new download from a link provided a few pages ago. Can anyone help me to get the ChickHENR2 to work so I can get the custom firmware 5-03gen-for-hen_1244382677 flashed to my PSP.

THANKS

"Launch the main EBOOT.PBP using ChickHEN R2." Step 10

Umm. How do I do this part? Is EBOOT supposed to show up somewhere on my psp?

I have PSP 3001. 5.03 firmware. I got chickHEN to work and then followed steps 1-9.

Hey hello,
I have a problem with Hacking my PSP and after looking for hours in different forums,I still haven't found a answer.

My PSP:
1004
Data Code: 8B
FW: 5.03

I have installed ChickHen 2 and it is running(greenscreen, rebooting and so on) then i access the game folder and start 5.03Gen-a(Installer-Loader)
Then i press L or R and the screen says "it was successfull" but when I press the "O" the screen goes black and the PSP turn off...

Formating the MemoryCard and downloading from several sources didn't take any effect...

Is there anyone who can help me fix this problem??
Or have anyone another solution how i can put a costum Firmware on it?

Thanks in advance

ps: sorry for my bad english
