CFWEnabler 3.30 released.

Once again, a new build has been released at Dark-AleX.org Forums.

Changes?
- Improved menu options.
- Fixed bug in network update.
- Now you can change version.txt to 5.51.
- Spoof Mac address in XMB.
- Improved the ChikHEN patch system.

Mirror. Good work once again.

It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

It's not working on my PSP-3000. I finally got ChickHEN running (god, I wish there was a way to make that thing more reliable without reformatting the damned stick every time) and fired up CFWEv3.30. I hit "Flash And Start", but it gives me four "ERROR! Error writing file" followed by "ERROR! Flasher can't install custom firmware". Using Uninstall (which I guess must be there for people running GEN-A...?) and then Flash And Start gives me the same results.

So now what?

:EDIT: n/m, I got it. Looks like I had to be running v3.20 to run v3.30, presumably since 3.20 was already installed. I guess ChickHEN alone does the trick if an earlier version weren't installed.

One question, though... what do the "Change Version" option under Settings and the "Flash Pops Modules" option do? I'm a little afraid to mess with the flash more than I have to.

I know this is a dumb question but what is Native 5.03 Pops? Does it mean that popsloader is already installed when I install CFWEnabler 3.30?

POPs comes with all official firmware. Native 5.03 means that this has the official 5.03 POPs from Sony included. Popsloader is different; it lets you load up older versions of POPs, in case you have a game or two that worked better on the older ones.

Thanks for the response. I have another question though, will I damage my psp if I install a custom theme after installing CFW enabler?

I plan to download this theme http://www.consolespot.net/forums/ps...-5-00-m33.html

that one is fine to use because it is in .ctf format and thus doesn't touch the flash0 files

Hi, one of the options of the CFW enabler is the online update, how does this work exactly ?

What's the diffrence between this and 5.03 GEN-A(I'm on a 3000)?
Does this go away after a power-off aswell?
