No argument here; it's SO sweet to have CFW on a 3000.

Rapidshare: They limit up to 10 downloads only. Put the file under collector's account so that it won't have limits.

Reupload please.

Thanks.

Any clues? I've looked around on the forums a bit, but I can't see anyone else with a similar problem.

I have a psp-3000, running 5.03 firmware.

Thanks!
Already answered. Run ChickHEN, then your current version of CFWE, THEN your new version.
What do you mean by current version? For example, I tried (on my first ever try to install CFW and ChickHEN) to use version 3.5 of CFW and I got the error messages ["Error writing files"]. When I tried later with version 3.2 (after reading your post), I got about four blank screens and then a succesful message that said: "Succesfully completed. Do you want to start custom firmware?" but the only option was "O Back", and after throwing me back to XMB, I ran CFW again to check to see if it was installed and it said no.

I can install ChickHEN really easy but CFW just keeps saying "Error". On the readme of CFW it says that if that happens then I don't have the correct version of ChickHen, but the one I downloaded was from the thread:

[UPDATE] ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler R2 Out now

(From the link: )
"it here, for all to use

buggy, new version tomorrow"
I have a PSP like the guy from first quote [3000-v5.03]
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help...

I didn't think this was complicated--your "current version" would be "the ****ing version of CFWEnabler that you already have installed." For example, if you installed CFWEv3.2, then RUN CFWEv3.2, then when you're safely in your CFW run the CFWEv3.5 update and it should be able to take care of those four or five files that it was giving you errors about before.

ChickHEN -> current CFWE -> new CFWE. Savvy?

:EDIT: Ok, I think I was being excessively assholish in that one. <_< After a re-read, the only thing I can think of is maybe going ChickHEN -> 3.20 -> 3.30 -> 3.50; I didn't go from 3.20 -> 3.50 so I don't know if it would work that way or not.
