If you want to play UMDs as well you would be better off getting a cr-5400 which uses 2 micro sd cards.

Thumbs down

I don't think this would work as the 4gb Datel thing has a 4gb limit within the hardware and to bypass it you would need to rewrite the flash for the device... The cr is the best idea

as silent said u can use the Photofast cr-5400 which is a MS but with 2 MicroSD slots in it. the one i have is a cr-3100 and if fits on the back of a psp slim leaving the udm drive usable. i just internalized mine so its cleaner

... LOL, why bother with all that? Soldering and running stuff to the umd drive and whatever, thats a really a bad idea cause whats the point of wasting a good and useful Umd Drive when you don't have to? I have a 5400 on my 3000 model and can't see the logic of what it is you all are trying to do. For the one who has already modded his shit, I still give you props cause Im sure you were already walking around with 32 gigs worth of memory while we all were still waiting for the sd cards to come out much less the mspd's.

5400 all the way, you guys wanna make a real "mod" try to find a way to internalize one of those psp cameras like Ive seen on this one guys psp.

i dont use my umd drive. i dont even play psp games on my psp. mainly for music and a lil emulation. internalizing a camera is 1000x easier then the cr-3100. if u want to see a real mod then look at the ps360 controller (ps3 controller in a 360 shell) which is my current project

I have a question, how does the read and write speed of the cr 5400 compare to a sandisk memory stick ?

Is it the same ?better , worse ? I´m thinking about getting one of these

Thanks man
This thing is really cheap and seems worth the money
Any brand of sd cards people recommend ? I was going for the Sandisk ones, but they seem to be the worse of them...

Kingston seems nice tho

Cheers and thanks
