I'm a PSP 1000 owner, so if the Go was hacked I would have an excuse to update without loosing all the cool homebrew apps I use all the time

i would buy a go if...
it was the only psp available at all(like in existence), AND the price was was much lower. (w/e the current price of the 3000 is) AND still had homebrew, since homebrew is the only reason i even bought a psp in the first place. (notice that's homebrew, NOT piracy) Quote:
otherwise i still wouldn't get it cause i already have... the first two.

I am not too sure, but I have to say yes. I would buy one if it got hacked only if a price drop happened. If by that time there is a PSP 2, then screw the Go, I am getting the PSP 2.

This poll is pretty conclusive then. Majority who said they wouldn't purchase a Go in its current state, voted that they would purchase one however, if it was hacked.
Which goes lengths to prove my point that most people bash the Go because they can't play their pirated games on it at the moment. The minute its hacked and suddenly the Go is looking pretty tasty.

Nope.
I will never buy a PSP-GO. If it works for some and is what some people are looking for in a mobile gaming device that's great for them. But it is not what I'm looking for in a PSP. IMO make the PSP better, not patch it up or spread it across multiple demographics. The only thing that brought my attention to the PSP-GO was the Bluetooth connectivity and how you can use a Dualshock controller with your PSP-GO. But, it seems like Sony didn't actually think it threw and slapped the idea together. If someone wanted to actually USE the Dualshock controller you have to connect your PSP-GO to your PS3 then connect your Dualshock controller ... that just doesn't make any sense to me.... Yeah you can also use your Bluetooth to connect wireless headphones and your cellphone to get Internet on your PSP, but neither of those interest me. Plus, the PSP browser is hella bad. Wired headphones = fine with me Internet browsing = iPhone So, no I'm not getting a PSP-GO.
