Pros:
1-Graphics better than PSP 1000 and PSP 2000
2-64 mb ram
3-Same light and thin as PSP 2000 , so It's thinner and lighter than PSP Phat
4-Bulit-in Microphone
5--Can be charged via USB cable without having to hardmod the PSP to do it
Cons:
1-Can't softmod Pandora batteries
2-Can't be unbricked except with Sony
3-No infrared port
4-Can't play 1.50 homebrew

I think you should add this page as it tells you what firmware was release when and therefore users can deduce what firmware came with the PSP if they remember when it was bought brand new http://www.us.playstation.com/suppor...p/history.html

All of the PSP's have the same graphics. The screens are what set them apart in terms of appearance of games.
RAM just helps the load times.

I don't think you can buy psps in stores with 5.03 all the in stores ones have been upgraded to 5.50+

i got my 5.03 psp from swagbucks

its perfectly possible. It really depends on when the stores received their supplies and in turn when the supplies were manufactured.
