This looks like a nice idea...
You may want to explain how to test for the noobs and people that generally don't know how... Also, the actual memory stick/microSDHC matters too.. I'll test either two 8GB, two 16GB or one 16GB and one 8GB in a 3100 whenever I get either of those choices..

Here are my individual tests.
2gb micro sd adata: http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/3811/adatavr7.png 1gb micro sd sandisk: http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/9473/sandisktr7.png Also, I have a PSP Slim. I'm a bit surprised the adata performed better than the sandisk. I ordered 2 8gb adata micro sdhc class 6 cards today. I'll redo the tests when I receive them in a couple days. from the limited results so far:
it seems that when two mismatching cards are inserted the slower read/write speed will prevail thanks to melan for the testing EDIT: This is my personal reveiw on the set up i got. i purchased the cr-5400 (the one that goes inside the psp) and first off it doesn't click in to the memory stick reader perfectlly, and because of that it can be difficult to get back out again, other than that it worked as advertised. i used this "no name micro" card on a phat, it claims to be class 6 ![]() everything worked perfect (including games, emulators and iso's) i wouldn't try to pandora it or anything, its not magicgate supported. although i did notice two other things i didnt like, it seemed like the xmb takes an extra second or two to load when the "no name micro" card is inserted, even with the xmb clock set to 333, and sometimes after a cold boot the xmb will not load unless i remove the memory stick during boot. this always happens after the psp freezes. so in other words, if my psp freezes (like when you try to play certain videos in psptube) then i must remove the cr-5400 in order to boot again, once booted i then usually need to insert and remove it 2-3 times before it is displayed in the xmb again. im pretty sure that we (as a community) could come up with an ipl that would remedy this problem because im reasonably sure that the ipl is causing any load errors speed test results, ![]() ==============================EDIT 2====================================== this my new re-review of my cr-5400: originally i said that the cr-5400 didnt fit perfectly and that i had trouble ejecting it, but after for use it has begun to perform exactly as it should, i guess i had to just break it in. also i got the boot up errors worked out, it turned out to be a flash 0 problem not a memory stick problem

just a really off the wall question for android:
does the cr-3100 recoginize the cr-5400 w/ 2 x 8gb inserted? |

|
||||
|
no as the cr-5400 is a memory stick and the cr-3100 is a dual sd card converter
