I want to find a way to do this, and I am learning, and creating a program, for converting .n64, and other N64 formats to iso's, and from there to EBOOT, which will hopefully be playable on POPs' 3.03 OE-B. Yes, I know what you are thinking. Something like this will NEVER happen. Just like a downgrader for anything above firmware 2.0. I don't care what you all say about how different PSX and N64 games are. When comparing files of games that were on both systems, there are certain similarities, between both game types. I understand this will take MUCH time, but I will be able to convert the formats. Look out StrmnNrmn. Here comes TeamArukado! |

![]() Now, the N64 emulator being fixed up to actually run right is possible in the future, but making an eboot? Nyet!

It might work, but not the way you're wanting to. The fact that they both have "files" and that they are "similar" doesn't matter much. They're written for completely different architectures. The downgrader example you're stating is different, since once a flaw is discovered to gain access to necessary stuff, you're unlocked and can do almost anything you want (thus the downgrade). What you want to do is not discover a flaw for total access, you want to re-write every single thing. It's like saying "I can fly if I flap my arms really fast! I know you say its impossible, just like downgrading anything higher than 2.0!".
Now...if you were to make a very very good N64 emulator into the .iso that only ran the Zelda game, that might be possible, but I'm not sure how that can be done since I haven't developed for PSP yet. What you're talking about is basically emulate N64 into PSX and THEN emulate that on PSP...then again what do I know. If you prove me wrong I'll send you 20 e-cookies and a thankyou card :) |

If you can pull this off, all the zelda fans who own psps will kiss your feet and feed you grapes. But, I recommend you simply help improve the n64 emulator team.

Actually Playing full speed N64 games are possible, just little modding required.
first break open your N64 and grab all the parts, cut them up with training scissors and cut them until they can fit into your PSP, now open up your PSP and grab all the parts of the N64 and solider them to the PSP mother board with peanut butter. once you've done that grab the duct tape and tape your PSP back together. now open up your UMD drive and squash the zelda game into it. congrats you have the legend of Zelda working on your PSP along with 100's of other N64 games. |
