survive without continue or something in HARD mode????

but contra is tough, I play in normal and I can't even beat the 2nd stage.

the contra in SNES is manageable
the contra in PS1 is impossible

lol, I can beat the SNES one with normal lives. But I once played online with this guy who used the cheat, he didn't even die once, I kept dying and using up his lives o_o...

With a little patience it's still hard, but it isn't as off the wall as other Contra games though. The thing that makes Contra 4 for the DS even harder is the two screens. That small empty space without the screen doesn't precisely carry the bullet from the top screen to the bottom. This sometimes throws a bullet (or several) off by inces and you get hit.

You gotta love the beauty in thinking whether it's a slightly broken gameplay/hardware design.

i played hard and only used 2 continues
(dont know how ill do now though, that was back when i was in high school)
