editing theme.

I'm trying to edit vegetano1's Crisis Core theme, to change the Zack icon, to a different one. I extracted the flash files from the CTF, replaced the image using the RCO editor, and now I'm having trouble converting it back to CTF. I've read Robs1968's directions in this (http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=1437120#p1437120) thread, and mattrey94's tutorial here (http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=136005), although I'm using the CTF manager. I tried using Sony's theme maker, as directed, but I don't have photoshop, and the converter doesn't like my PNG files. I also tried using Sony's Crisis Core theme as the PTF, but the CTF Manager crashes when I do that.

so would someone either convert this (http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/3603/crisiscorepspzackwq7.png) image to a suitable preview icon PNG, or at least tell me how to do it, without Photoshop.

could've used paint to save it as a 256 colors bmp then save it as a png.

ok, now I've got the PTF and everything created fine, but when I try to convert it to CTF, I get this (http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/8558/errortt0.jpg) error.

I'm assuming it's a problem with my common_gui.prx. I extracted it from my Slim, running 3.90M33-3. Could that be the problem?

EDIT again:

I replaced the three needed .prx files with ones from here (http://www.mediafire.com/?6dvsurum9gg), which Robs uploaded in this (http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=1437120#p1437120) thread, and I got the same problem.

If you need a good, powerful, free image converter (as well as batch conversion) use Irfanview 4.0.

I followed mattreys tutorial, and created the ctf just fine, but the icons are not where they should be. From what Robs told me, I'm assuming that's because of vshmain.prx. sorry for being so noobish about this. D:

try using blessedhand's vshmain editor to edit the positions in your vshmain.prx to match the ffcc theme's vshmain.prx. No need to hex edit.
