An mps to an rco ? do you mean an mps to a pmf ?

Are you trying to make a gameboot ?

Use MPS2PMF. Just drop your .mps into the gameboot folder and run

Gameboot Converter.bat

Then just rename the generated .pmf to gameboot.pmf

---> MPS2PMF (http://www.mediafire.com/?zwmntcqlgph)

You can not convert an mps to an rco.

RCOs just hold images, text and animation data.

I assume you're trying to convert an .mps to an opening_plugin.rco.

That's not possible.

You have to convert it to a .PMF (PSP Video File)

Depending on your CFW version, you can use Cintro Mod to play a .pmf when you boot your psp.

Since you already used UMD Tools to create your .mps, you have to convert it to a
pmf with pmf creator:

---> PMF Creator (http://www.mediafire.com/?dny1qagxmwc)

Just drop your 00001.mps into the pmfcreator folder, put the total time length in of the pmf (minutes and seconds) and convert:

Create an RCO? What exactly are you trying to do?

You can modify an RCO with RCO Editor if that's what you mean.

I still don't know what firmware you're on, joker.

When you turn on your psp, what you are seeing is a logo and a bootwave, it's not a video. The sound you are hearing is the bootsound coming from opening_plugin.prx, and the logo and bootwave you see are in opening_plugin.rco.

A new bootsound can be created if you want, and you can edit the text in opening_plugin.rco (replace with your own text, or add a small image) with RCO Editor, but you can't put a video (.pmf) in an rco.

You can have a cintro (intro.pmf) however, so when you coldboot you're PSP, you can see your video play (pmf), instead of the bootlogo and bootsound.

This will all depend on what firmware you're on. If you are 3.71M33 or higher, you won't be able to use your intro video, unless you have a Pandora's battery and Time Machine installed. Then you can run 3.40OE from your memory stick and run your Cintro (intro video)

This Resident Evil intro you made, did you convert it to a pmf ? If it's still an .mps, you have to convert it to a .pmf

ya i have converted it to pmf. so with this time machine installed my psp will still function as it is currently on the 3.90 m33-3?
b/c i have irshell 3.9 and psptube as well as other homebrews. after i install the time machine will my programs still function on m33 firmware?
i guess i'm also asking what the time machine really is, along with those other questions above. also, if the time machine is not to my liking, can i uninstall it?

joker4731,

A cintro plugin has been released for 3.90 M33, so there's no need for you to install Time Machine. You just have to have the 1.50 kernel add-on installed. There's a link to the Cintro plugin in this theme release. You'll see it right underneath the screenshots:

If you have any problems with it post here and i'll help you.

i installed it and tested it with its preinstalled intro but when i put in my custom intro, it wouldn't work. i just get a black screen (after i hold the L button of course). the only way i could get to my home screen is to shut off the psp then turn it back on again without holding L. My custom intro was about 7 seconds long, 1.4 mb. i made it using sony umd composer, and some video editing software. i tested it out on the umd streamer from sony and it worked fine there. any suggestions dude?

joker4731,

If it plays through UMD Stream Viewer there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

Do you have the 1.5 Kernel Add-on v2 installed ?
