It can run on linux, so it should be possible. I see no reason why it wouldn't be,
but it would be a big project, I think. That program is weird.

i did some googling and found this

OpenMUGEN for the psp..
works perfect.. controls are kinda hard though.. and i have no idea how to add characters or stages :/ lol
now.. if someone could work from that, but improve on it..
it would be sweet

Last I heard, that project was dropped. If that creator would give out his source, then people could work on it. Until it is open source, no further development would be made on this project.

Yeah it sucks when you can't get the source fiel for what you want to work on.,
But i guess it is what i would do.. when i make and when my team make's software will will not be giving out the Cource codes to anyone..
it's just so we dont get ripped off on them :>
it could be possible although it would get pretty boring just playing the computer, maybe multiplayer would be nice ;)

So a programmer's source code = a GFXer's PSD?

Not really. Without a PSD, you can still do quite a bit to the image (slightly harder). Without source code, you basically can't do much at all, unless you're prepared to disassemble.
Also, try not to compare graphics with programming. Graphics may take minutes or hours, but coding takes at least days, usually weeks and months (I say this, because of the number of people requesting "Please make this for the PSP" - but really, it's not something that can be done in a few hours, so it's rather a very large request).

Graphics can take days, weeks, and months as well...
Graphics projects like website templates can take a while to do especially tech templates, because you'd need to design the banner, buttons, headers, etc.
But sigs can take a few minutes to a couple of days...

Yeah - it's basically many graphics stuck together. So hours * many = days/months etc.
Thing is, basically, I was just saying, because I've seen a lot of requests like "make this game compatible for the PSP please!!!". Though, would you like to commence on a project that would consume months just for someone else?
I'm not saying you're wrong, just some random thing I have :/

I agree, M.U.G.E.N would be great for PSP homebrew. :)
