hello, and ive been through quite a doozy finding how to beat rapidshares download limits and finally came across
a simple solution everyone can follow. I know that most people try the proxy method or try to get free passes from others but this way is sooo simple a noob could do it... I want to share my discovery with all, and plus a lot of good stuff is on rapidshare and you dont wan to wait 81 minutes do you?
ok so here goes...(note i am using firefox)
step 1.
first scroll over the link to the rapidshare page containing what you want to download...
step 2.
right click this link and select the option "copy link location"
step 3.
open a new window or tab and go to the website "http://www.browseatwork1.com/"
step 4.
where it says "browse at work " with a searchbar next to it, right click the search bar and select "paste"
step 5.
click "browse at work" located right of the search bar.
step 6.
you will either be brought to a page with a download button on it or directly to the rapidshare page saying if you would like to download for free or with a premium account..
NOTE... if you get any pop-up errors from browse at work saying something is wrong, just click "ok"
step 7
click "free" at the bottom of the page to continue
step 8 (the tricky part)
you will wait a couple minutes till the lists of download mirrors pop up, and when they do, you are accustomed
to seeing a picture with a jumble of letters and numbers telling you what to type to download. It doesnt appear but dont worry...
step 9.
right-click some white space on the rapidshare page and select the option "view page info"
step 10.
you will be on a tab titled "general" and theres also other tabs as well next to it; i want you to click the tab titled
"media"
step 11.
you will see a whole bunch of links to various pictures on the rapidshare page, so scroll down to the last 4 picture adresses in the window...
step 12.
select the 4th to last picture, so it is marked blue.
step 13.
below the window of picture adresses you will see
adress:
Title:
Alternate Text:
etc...
we are concerned to what is right of the "adress" here...
you should see a link location...
step 14.
highlight the link location of the picture and copy it (by pressing "ctrl+c" on youre keyboard)
you may now exit the "page info" window you see, and now open a new tab or window.
step 15.
paste the text you just copied in the adress bar and click go or hit the enter key.
you should now see the image of what you were supposed to type in on rapidshare
step 16.
go back to rapidshare and type the appropriate letters and numbers and click "download from ..."
step 17.
enjoy or repeat the procces however many times youd like...
