Do you have a few PS1 games around, did you ever want to play them on your PSP, Well here is...
Boom Howza's PSX Disc Backup Tutorial!!!
Required Files:
PopstationGUI (http://www.sendspace.com/file/pirjvv) - This is my favourite
UltraISO (http://www.download.com/UltraISO-Premium/3000-2646-10177302.html?part=dl-UltraISOP&
subj=uo&tag=button) - Its a Free Trail but it does the job
3.02 OE-A/B - required to work, dont hesitate to upgrade, its worth it!!!
A PS1 Game - duh!!!
Step 1:
a) Download the files, install them, and ofcourse get a PS1 Game
b) put your PS1 Game in your CD/DVD drive (doesnt matter)
c) Go into My Computer and Right Click on the DVD/CD drive you put the disk in, put your mouse over the UltraISO then the list should appear, click "create CD/DVD Image"
d) open the POPDOWN list that says save as type and select CloneCD File,
ii) name your img file so you can reconise it in your specified folder
iii) click save
Step 2:
a)
i)When finished, open the Popstation GUI
ii) for the PSX Image File, select the image file you backed up
iii) click select in the GAME ID area and type the name of your game until you see it, and select it
iv) you have done all you need, but if you want to customise your eboot a bit more, fill the areas with the files you need...
v) select GO...
b) presuming it finished succesfully, it will have generated two files in the same folder as the disc image, "EBOOT.PBP" and "KEYS.BIN"
c) plug in your PSP to the computer, go in "X:\\PSP\GAME302\" create a folder in here, call it whatever you want, then copy those two generated files in there
If all has gone well, you have succesfully created a PSX game for your PSP...
FAQS
q) Why is my game is glitching during play?
a) It could be somthing wrong with the disk or you had a bad .img file
q) There are two other files when i finish the .img save
a) Dont worry about those, you can delete them...
q) My game wont start...
a) You may have followed the steps incorrectly, or it is not supported...
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
