I would like to make an eboot for fw 1.5. Something i can run from psp/game and will reboot into emulated 1.5 fw.
can i do this by editing devhook, or am i going to need to learn c++?
I'm not asking anybody to do this for me or to hold my hand in learning c++ if that is required. just point me in the right direction.

any help, advice, links, urls, would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Not too sure. Mainly because I don't know how harleyg's custom firmware works, but you could try something similar.

i think i'm close now. i have downloaded MPH FW launcher. it looks like with alittle tweaking it might do what i want. the only problem is that it was written for 1.5. my plan is to view the last two gba emulators released in hex. one is written for 1.5 and one is exactly the same except written for ta 082/2.71. if i can find the difference between the two than maybe i can make similar changes to MPH.

What do you think...?

Oh didn't get your original meaning. I though you were in 1.50, but wanted to load emulated 1.50 from there.
MPH F/W Launcher won't help you at all. If you're on 2.71 (official) there's really not much you can do.
