Give Me Some Program Ideas [READ PLEASE]

Hello i have posted here before and have had very little sucsess.

So i wana make some programs for use with the PSP these programs will NOT run on the psp, But they will run on WINDOWS so please post below what programs you think i should make?

Also i will be able to make any auto installer very easily and quickly.

Hmm, I can't think of much - as there really isn't much to make. With exception of complex or nigh impossible programs, such as adding Sony signatures to homebrew or making a PSMF encoder for example...
You can always make a better version of an existing program (like what I did :P).

how about a program that edits popstation.exe and puts in they name of the game and the ID number just give the user 2 fields to enter there info into the name (upto i think its 18 ascii) and then the ID number and then have it run popstation.exe for them after they press the go button.. should be pretty easy really.. you just have to have it go edit 2 differnt hex locations.. heres a link to a thread about doing this manualy i was gonna try and do it but i havent coded anything in about 9 years.. so i'm a little rusty lol

a WMV player ... PSPlayerMT freezes with every wmv i throw at it

or a plugin for OE so it can play them in the XMB

^^Just convert - WMVs suck anyway. Also the PSP's hardware simply can't handle a lot of things, which is why PSPPlayerMT is sorda horrible, but it's the best we've got.

I download a lot of anime, and sometimes i dont like the file names so i have to rename them all individually, and it's a pain. Same shit with family pictures and such

?????? okay go to fernyb.net look at the projects page download a neat little program called LYFOX search for a music video and download it ... they are 768 KBPS bitrate WMVs i always have to convert them to 768 KBPS psp compatible MP4s... that sucks(the converting part) but they look GREAT in the psps which is why i want the psp to be able to play WMVs to skip the converting part... also the bad thing is that when i try and convert a video sometimes like 1 out 16 videos i convert the audio and video are out of sync hopefully if the psp could play and video format that would get rid of that nasty problem

768kbps is horrible - AVC pwns WMV anyday. I convert anime for the PSP using AVC at 480x272 (max resolution). My average bitrate is ~300kbps (I convert using x264 Quantizer level 26) and the quality is outstanding.

And I really don't get what's wrong with converting - just leave it there and let the PC do it. As for your desynch problems, I've NEVER had such a problem (weird considering how many reports I've heard people say so). Oh and I convert TONS of videos each day...

Such programs exist. Can't remember any names, cause I never use them, but try Google. I've seen tons of them...

the wmvs are 320 x 240 and i thought there was media restricion for videos that are 480 x272

^^Yeah, if it's only 320x240, 768kbps just shows how bad WMV is. My 480x272 videos are like half the size and have better quality... Though you're using CBR, whilst I'm using VBR, so it's somewhat expected that I get smaller sizes. WMV3 also supports VBR, but nevertheless, AVC will still be able to get about half the size of WMV.
Oh, and to get 480x272 videos to play on the PSP, you need to use a homebrew player - I use PMP-Mod AVC.
