personnaly, i think you should add more options to the skins feature. i think all of them suck testicles apart from spinkbb.

I vote more options!

I don't really mind that much, I just keep the default blue on and sometimes use colbalt.

Why not just move to a whole new forum software with more skins and better modularization while we're at it? (I'm serious!) Maybe SMF or YaBB?

im pretty happy with punbb, it was mostly an update for teh mods, that was a nice User CP
also i use oxygeon and i wouldnt like anything else unless it was rlly rlly cool, also if u dont like teh skins GTFO!!!

alot of php boards are like that the data bases arnt designed for realy high usage vbb being one of the exceptions

That's due to the amount of guests online... When it lags try and look at the amount of guests that are online... There will be 100+ :lol:

The database size doesn't really matter all too much, if the queries are limited. If I have a 200mb database (large) but it has minimal queries then it is completely fine. The structure of the database comes into play as well. The only time it should lag is if it creates too much of a mysql server load, and since this site runs off of a dedicated server it's all good.

yeh but some forums are optomised to work better with more users than others like some have hard caps on them
