Regarding Devhook custom GUI

In regards to my Devhook GUI mod i did i will upload the whole Devhook .45 package with GUI by tomorrow night since I have gotten a lot of PM's for it. The custom Devhook GUI package wasn't created by me i just simply moddified the GUI that came with it as you can see from pic above. If you would like this please be patient as I have quite a few projects i am working on for the PSP :)

not sure i use .45 & full package is .45 but you could always try to over write the .45 files with .46. If you do try that let us know :)

^^^^^^^^The custom Devhook GUI package wasn't created by me i just simply moddified the GUI that came with it as you can see from pic above.
he never claimed he made it - most people just share things with other theres no need to be aggresive

Yeah, hopefully no one took anything seriously. The additions he made also look pretty good too, but I don't like the way I made my old skin anymore, thats why I put the new one up on my thread. :) But good job Pooky_187. :D

I actually haven't tried G.A.P's theme yet, but everything should work perfectly. Basically it's made to look like the PSP's XMB. Try it, there is no risk. :P All you should have to replace is the image folder in modfiles. I suggest you delete the image folder you have on your PSP right now, then put G.A.P's theme on there.

:) thanks. Yep i have a 2yr old boy, i manage to find time plus he goes to daycare durning weekdays and i dont work anymore right now so i got more freetime :) My Initial D theme is almost half done should be done by end of this comming up week hopefully.

You guys should try making your own skins from scratch instead of editing the default one because first of all, it gets a little repetative and boring, and also it's not hard to make your own skins. It's actually very easy, and there is a ton of flexibility with what you can do with this program. So I urge you skinners out there to make something unique. :)

And on another note, Pooky, I will probably upload your skin in a little while. I'm just lazy right now. :D

Requires no coding whatsoever... Take a look at my skin and other people's skins, it should be easy for you to figure out how to make them. A lot of things can also be changed from setup.cfg.

Lol, like I said man, there is no coding involved for you. Just a few co-ordinates for things such as ISO list you will need to figure out and stuff like that, but no coding whatsoever. All you do is make your PNGs and change the setup.cfg. It's really easy once you understand it all.

i do understand co-ordinates a bit and thankfully Photoimpact gives them to me :) I have only tried it once before but im a quick learner :) I am going to make a bad ass Initial D one. I saw the one on your post link that someone made to look like XMB it gave me an idea if we could make a program within devhook to be able to create our own type of XMB so if you have custom FW like i do you can load directly into Devhook GUI and it will acually be a custom XMB to run all devhook feat. and the feat. of XMB to for music/videos/pix and homebrew....probally not possible but would be very koo

your age shouldn't matter it just takes practice. At least your starting young as i didn't get a comp. till i was like 17 & im 26 now but i have been playing video games for 16yrs though ;)

not sure but when i do something from scratch like that it usually takes me about 3 days as long as i stay inspired and get at least 4-5 hours of work on it each day. That includes testing it and changing over & over again till i am somewhat happy with it.

Your age shouldn't matter at all, it's all level of skill. I'm 14 and it took me only a few days on and off to make my skins. (maybe about 2-3 hours together, but the only long part is saving the png files in the proper way, making sure it works, and fixing stuff :P). But yeah, it's not hard to make skins. :)

from what i have heard from others is that they have used it on .44, i have it on .45 and some use it with .46 so to answer you YES :) I prefer .45 but if you want .46 you can use it.

You do not make co-ordinates for the tabs. You simply place the tabs wherever you want, and export it as a 480x272 transparent PNG, with only the tab showing, and the rest of it being transparent. :) All you have to change in the setup.cfg for menu is if you want up and down to control the menus or left and right. =)

Download the latest version of Devhook GUI Mod from my sig, and then extract it, you will see setup.cfg in the images folder. Look through it, you might also get a better understanding of the program.

you have to first DL the Devhook package with GUI. I got the link on page 2 of this post DL & enjoy ;) if you wanna change/ do one your self you change the wallpaper.png thats located in the DH>KD>Moddified>images folder

You gotta calm down man. It's freaking 2 people in charge of this mod. Mainly TheBuzzer, who probably doesn't even go to these boards, and me. I'm not going to be able to answer your questions right away, I don't stay on this page 24/7 and refresh the page for you.

And to answer your question, I don't know and don't really care if this mod works for 0.46 or not because first of all, I don't want to flash the crap to my PSP, and neither does TheBuzzer, so he didn't code it for 0.46. It should work, I don't know what's wrong with you, but if it doesn't, I can't do anything about it because I didn't code this mod, TheBuzzer did.

And really, if you don't like the support for this mod, then go ahead and use standard Devhook, not like we're making money out of this.

I'm not sure which menu you mean, but if it's the main meun, or it's subs, then you just place the button wherever you want, and create a full 480x272 resolution picture of that with everything but the button being transparent. Then you just create a hover (highlight) for that button, and place it accordingly in the images folder (take a look around the images folders of different skins, you will probably understand better that way. Ti instal on 0.46 do you just extract the files from the zip file into the dh folder, do you have to use the eboot of devhook which they provide?

koo b3ckh4m. Heres a preview of my new Initial D set-Almost Done. The Devhook menu may not look like much but it pretty kool when you acually use it. When i upload it you'll see ;) If all goes well i will upload Friday.

Custom EBoots, There is no background just pic. so you see your wallpaper behind it. I will add wallpaper shown in screen shot because as you see it looks pretty koo together.

As soon as i get My Initial D theme done im got an idea for a new DH GUI :) & as for moving this to Mod & Hacks & does acually belong here in Gallery but I'd say add one to Hacks also :)

Lookin' good with the Xbox 360 skin. There are a few things I would change, but I'm too lazy to type right now. :P I might make my own version of the Xbox 360 skin later on, but I'm currently working on my third skin, so look out for that. :) I will post here when its done.

not sure but i just changed it to fit my self. Changed:

works just great now :) I love it just a fabulous job. For myself though im going to take off the PGR pic & Text and Put a Initial D one :) just to fit my style. I must say im going to have to work a lot harder on my future GUI's now just to come close to how well this one is :) you should or I make a new post now with the topic CUSTOM DevHook GUI's with your Xbox one on top
