Request Bootsounds Here

If you have a request for a custom bootsound please post it here and hopefully someone will fill your request. Here are a few things to make it easier on the bootsound maker:

-Please provide a source file if possible. It helps if the file is 0-3 seconds long (3.5 seconds max).

-Please be clear what part of the audio clip you want to be converted (if it is longer than 3 seconds).

-.wav is the easiest format to convert to psp, provide it in this format if possible.

-Please abide to the Rules thread in this section.

-I will take filled requests and index them into my "Lots of Gameboots" thread so that everyone has easy access to finding them. If you wish to be the only person with the bootsound you requested please PM the maker or make a note in your post.

If one of these tips needs clearing up, or some makers have anymore requests of requesters, reply and I'll edit this top post.

You successfully changed it to 16 bits but the frequency was still off. Corrected it and converted, sounds good. Do you mind if I put this in my "Lots of gameboots" thread so its indexed?

Ok, this is out there, but would be sweet. Remember when you beat a mission in Vice City? It would say "Mission completed" in Pink letters or whatever, it'd tell you the money you got, and it'd play that sound. I can't find a video of it, but that'd be awesome. You'd have to edit the first part out, just until the main part.

Currently there is no program to make a Gameboot other than the very exspensive PSP game making kit so No luck there use that cool Prince of persia Gameboot with the slashing and blood!

EDIT: Completed your sound scareg, this is probably the perfect length bootsound...it flows perfectly into the gameboot and the pause between psp and the zelda sound is great I think. I'm also not familiar with killzone or the line, but if you find me a link to a sound clip that you like then I'd be more than happy to make one up for ya.

I'm talking about the Officail sony Gamemaking kit They sell for I don't really know guessing $1,500 This is the package that gamemakers suchs as rockstar company would buy to make GTA

:D I Love it, both of them sound excellent. Now I don't know which to use. The GTA one sounds awesome, but Unfreakin believeable sounds cool too. I guess I'll use the Guitar one on my PSP and the Halo one as my Devhook

I use PSPSet for gameboots and bootsounds, X-Flash for most the rest, Font Hacker for my Font, and Flashmod for my menu. I only keep PSPSet and X-Flash on it though.

I use .rco's for flashing my menu and bootsound. Find Flashmod with Font Hack and it gives you a program to give you the topmenu_plugin.rco file.

i've tried to do that. topmenu_plugin.rco isnt cross-firmware like opening_plugin.rco is, so you actually need to use a 2.71 file. getting one isnt hard, but the program that edits topmenu_plugin.rco with custom menu names (psp menu edit) cant seem to read it. unless there's a new version out that i dont know about, there's no program that can edit a 2.7+ topmenu_plugin.rco

Install the codec found here http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/536 and then view with a media player. I prefer Media Player Classic to view my pmf's. There will be no sound however, and i dont think there were any usable pmf's in naruto, but please check again. I'll start looking for a english naruto wav.

Honestly....the Japanese voice acting kicks the English voice acting's ass. The English ones make some of them sound completely gay and immature. The longest bootsound u can stretch is 3.4-3.5 seconds. 3 seconds is recommended as the usual. I'll get to work on these recent ones, thanks for finding the audio.

Hmmm sounds interesting. I'd just like to here a bit more of what you are thinking. Do you mean to copy and paste all the requests that were filled onto a new sticky topic in this section? So people would come in here, request a boot, someone would get it done and then they would both delete their posts after it was put up on the main page? Or did you have something else in mind? Let me know. I don't have time for such a project right now as I'll be away for 2 weeks for a work conference but it's something I'd definetly be interested in doing if it's set up well. So heum the files I've uploaded lately are kinda crap and well I don't think they'll work so I have a more specific request if you could give me that song cut at exactly 1min30, 050 milliseconds to 1min33, 710 ms(well around that so the lenght is 3 sec 662 ), the part when she's singing "simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel". So this part done convert it and well put it in an opening_pluging(i'm making a tutorial lol), and maybe a preview of the boot sound with it plz but it's not so necessary. I know i'ts a big job but my computer is real scrap so I can't do it myself(I've broke devhook so imagine on my psp lol). Hope I'll find someone who has the time to do it.

okay- the juggernaut bootsound wont work. here's what's happening:
i have him saying "yeah it's the juggernaught, bitch". it's about 3 seconds long. trouble is it goes too fast on the psp (sounds like he's on helium). so i turn the frequency up in order to bring the pitch of his voice down, and that makes the file too big for pspmenu edit to put into opening_plugin.rco. sorry, but unless you want it to sound like the juggernaught's been inhaling helium, this wont work

Hi there! Can someone get for ne the "Playstation" sound, the one of the Playstation 1 commercial? when the Playstation logo appeared at the end? I've been searching like mad for it but I think It does not exist... Can somebody help me?

Here ya go, I've re-upped it and updated my bootsound thread. I'll be going through and checking all the links and making sure they arn't broken. I also have a few bootsound ideas that I want to get down. I'm also back to a regular schedule so I'll be filling more requests again.
