LUA help?

this thread has probably been posted a million times below, but does anyone have/know of a guide for lua that describes the basics? and i mean the very basics of lua. sorry if i sound like a complete loser or something. but i understand fuck all about lua, and all i need is a good guide and ill answer my questions myself.
