Frys had a deal last week, 1gb for 65$ - 20$ mail in rebate (AKA 45$), I bought one on wensday, then returned for another one on friday to find out they only have this deal on wensdays and someother day I cant remeber. (on any other day the card cost 80$)

for U.K buyers you can get 2gb cards cheap by searching '2gb pro duo' in Ebay.co.uk (http://ebay.co.uk) then go to the soonest ending, when it has a minute to go and is in your price range put your maximum bid in and prey,

but remember the post and packaging, this is how they make their money, and check if insurance is required

my card finished at 52 quid but post and packaging was 20 but that is still an amazing deal consdidering most shops sell them at at least 100 quid

Yeah, I had a Lexar brand 512mb. Its just fine. As long as its PRO DUO then it will work just fine.

Edit: it looks like they changed the deal. Now there is no rebate. But I've seen this before. I think it is only on certain days of the week. It will come back up again, just keep checking.
