Music for the main menu?

Is it posible to run music on the PSP main menu?

Not at the moment Well thank you for your time, I wonder..do you know how to convert music into .at3 files, that can be played when I veiw it in the savedata menu? Like when a game save has music, only create my own for it.

Yes you can, what version are you running? In 2.5 you can hit the select icon and it brings you back while listening to music.

While listening to one of your mp3's. Click on the home bottom and you can browse your menu with music playing. Although as soon as you click on the memory stick icon the music will stop.

There are tools you can use to add custom music to eboot files so that music plays while you idle over them, just like umds and some savedata's do but i can't remember the name right now. I think one of the sei psp tools does it but i'm not sure :?

Music that constantly played in the PSPs background would be a battery killer, and having that as a setting within music would be the same as just pressing home while you listen.

The only thing music related that you might want that doesn't exist is the ability to listen to music while you view pics. I don't think thats gonna happen though :( . The way it slowly loads some pictures would effect the music. They could have an option for just one track of your choosing to be played while viewing pics bcuz repeating one song constantly seems to use less RAM then

ON Firmware VERSION 2.5 I have discovered a way to play the music on the psp's desktop:

When you have a track playing click the left arrow twice/three times, it will exit the music menu and return to the main menu WITHOUT stopping th music.

u dickhead is the same as clickinh home /select...and if u press any other icons the music will go awaya, this can be done in version 1.5 as well

the psp should automataclly reformat pics as new ones so that it doesnt have to format them everytime. so you would have 2 files.

1. original
2. pspformated
sure it would take up more space but it would take a lot less time to load. Maybe just an option.

lmao. just click home. You cant access most things in the menu without turning off the music though.
