settings for converting

what settings do you guys use to convert movies i converter next friday with psp video 9 and it only took of like 40 mb it was on like the 3rd best

is there any way to convert and compress to a smaller size without loosing too much quality

right now im converting a simpsons episode at QVGA/15fps/216kbps/stereo/96kbps
i know 15fps is frames per second i know what the stereo the sound is but can someone explain to me what is QVGA and what are 216kbps 512kbps 1500kbps

not sure about QVGA, but kbps = kilobits per second. the larger you go,
the better quailty video you get, but the bigger file size as well. the second
kbps is for the audio. the same rule applies for it.

personally, i find pspvideo9 a tad too bloated with not enough options.
