im so stupid!!!!!!!!!!! I was updating to jap firmware 2.00 and when it was on 7% of the update I removed the memory stick and It came up with a error saying please insert memory stick to continue update and I kept pressing X like a dum retarted like 20 times and it said, update fail........ contact Sony costumer service and the 1-9800 number. then I took out the battery to see if the psp would start up and it didn't turn back on!!! I BRICKED MY PSP!!!! IM SO STUPID!!!!

wow. i'm just having problems understanding how you could do something
like that... seriously, every game you play says don't remove the memory
stick or power off the machine while it's saving. and you go and do both!
while it's upgrading!

that's like those people who kill their computer by running an antivirus
scan while doing a service pack upgrade. why?????!!
