broken analog stick!!!

so i was playing spiderman 2 when the button came off my analog stick... i was like WTF!! :x .. i stick it back on and what does lil spidey start to do??? he automatically walks forward now... no way for me to move him in any other direction no matter where i point my damn analog stick... any have any problems with this or any fixes??

Yeah, this has happened t smepeopel. Is ur PSP 1.5 or above? If its 1.5, u can buy a new analog nub for like $20 I think form soem sites. And if its 1.51 or 1.52, then U might as well send it into sony to get them to fix it.

wait, so Sony wont repair you're PSP now unless you upgrade it?

my psp is a 1.51 ... i cant return it because i recieved the psp as a gift and my brother in law is having a hard time getting the reciept because he recieved it as a prize from work...

as for sony.. they only have one psp repair facility and its in texas .. it cost $125 to repair without a reciept...

and even if you do have one they wont repair the psp .. theyll give you a brand new one .. with already upgraded firmware

oh and i already have a new analog nub.. thats not the problem.. the whole thing no longer centers itself and its stuck in the up position no matter what direction i push

I think he was trying to say that if it's v1.5 and he wants to KEEP IT AS V1.5 then he should fix it himself. Otherwise send it in and don't worry about it.
