Formating the ms

When i get a new MS should i format it. I never did the 32mb one that it came with. Is there a reason i should format it?

I would format it from the PSP. Just incase their is any fucky crap left on it from the factory. I wouldn't let the PC format it and depending on your actual OS it could create an unstable FAT.

I've noticed that formating sticks from the PC tend to goof up when used in PPCs and cameras, in the long run.

When u format an MS on the PSP, it makes the PSP folder with the Photo, music, game, and savedata folders and it makes it a stable format for PSP to use.

Do it. My froend did it, got into Homebrew, and is having troubles making the wrong folders and stuff. She basically is mad that she didn't format it, and regrets she didn't. She could at any time, but she has Gamesaves on there. She won't listen to me. I told her to dump the game saves on the Hard Drive -PC- but she thinks she might lose them.

That's her loss and her ignorance. Maybe you could hook her up with the proper folder names.

Yes, she is very... Well.... She has difficulty Problem Solving. Pretty smart though.
