Well, thats for PRE-OWNED PSPs. I dont know about u, but I dont want a PSP that some guy hacked into and knew it would die in a week so traded it in quickly as possible. And I also dont want to end up with one out of warranty because the seal is broken, or cause Im not the original purchaser. Not to mention THE SCRATHES!!!! If its used, the loads of scratches that would be on there!!! I would never trade my PSP into gamestop or Eb, cause they pay sooo little. I'd rather sell it. BUT I NEVER WILL! Oh! And dont forget! The dumbass who traded it in could have updated to 1.51, or worse, 1.52!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I saw that yesterday when I was maqking sure the Gamestop near me had PSPs in stock. Good idea if people dont care too much about condition and stuff. I mean, I only trade in ym systems when they r too screwed up or they are old and a new system is backtrackable with it's games. And seeing as the PSP is very new, I dont think so. The only other reason is cause the person really needed money. Whatever, its good to see that ur showing this to everyone. Maybe some1 will buy a used PSP.

i think i saw this on PSPhacker.com that sony will sell a regular package, no carry case, strap and movie come with it, so it is like a basic package, it will go for $200, it is in Japan, maybe im wrong

I'm with RaiderX on this one. I wouldn't trust those one bit. That's like buying a traded in 2005 Jeep. What the hell did they do to it to trade it in so fast? They screwed something up!

It's GameStop. My store, (where I am employed) does NOT take back any PSP's that have been severly scratched, have any dead pixels. It has to be in complete working order; we check.

I wne to gamestop to get my psp this morenign, and the guy in line b4 me got a used psp. The guy at the counter said, if there is anything he doesn't like about, he could return it. Thats why I love gamestop, If u get a used game and it doesnt work, or u just plain hate the game, U can get ur money back within 30 days!! Thats what I did once. I beat a game in about 3 weeks and then returned it!!

I go to Gamestop and EB for different things. Gamestop is best for new Items that sell quick, because they always order a bigger shipment than EB. They always have stuff in Stock and avaliable. EB runs out a lot. And EB doe NOT let u return a new game unless its unopened. Neither does gamestop. gamestop lets you return a USED game for anyreason within 30 days. I'm not sure if EB does, cause I've never had to return a used game unless it freezes or something.

RaiderX, EB absolutly DOES let you return OPENED brand new games for store credit. At least the EBs in SoCal do. But the catch is you can only return games based on that credit two times. They say three strikes and you're out. So the third game you get is yours for keeps.

I buy a game - copy game - return game get another - copy game - return game then get the game I wanted from the very begining.

I do that every time there is a game I really want to actualy buy.

However to be honest ever since I signed up with GameFly I havn't bought a game since. I copy everything I get from them.

Yeah I do that with gamefly and netflix! I love those things. Y'know, gamefly is now renting UMDs. That will be great! I wonder if they will start renting out UMD movies, or if netflixshuld do that.... Thats interesting...

Kingdom hearts is KICK-ASS, but Im not that big of a dfisney fan., I loe RPGs and FF is one of the graetests!! I heard they are remaking FFIIV as a new game for PSP or maybe that was a misunderstanding of the movie. Either way, there is a final fantasy games comin out later on.

Yeah at GameStop you can open a new game right in front of us and we'll call it used. You shoulda seen the look on the kid's face when he tried to return it right then and there once he realized he got the wrong game (he wanted Madden 2005 and got 2004). :)

Thats one advantage of EB. Well, not only do I know every single guy at the EB that I go 2, but If that happened at EB they wouldn't concider it used. Well, maybe, but theywould let u exchnage it. And another thing is the srvice. Sometimes the guys at some gamestops are assholes. Mostly the ones in malls. Oh and the gamestop nearmy house, everyone who works there CANT TALK ON TH PHONE! Yeah company policy, we'll take it back, but as trade-in. I don't like some of our policies, like the one for PSP for example (Your PSP isn't covered by acts of god, and your warranty is severly limited. etc.)

I always read arts of warranties to find that. I alway crack up when I read: "The system is not covered for acts of God, misuse, abuse..." Acts of God!! WTF?!?! I guess they think some crazy cult mamber is gonna be like "hey man god destroyed this one and said u guys have to give me a new one, or you'll die tomorrow!" LOL

NAh! read the PSP manual warranty. The first page int he first few sentences it says acts of god. And it said thatbalso on my replacement warranty form EB, even thugh, that one does cover acts of god, cause I can replace the system, as long as I can prove there is something wrong with it.

CompUSA has the best warranties. I didn't buy my PSP from them (line was too long :D ) but I buy my PPCs from them. I have a two year extended warranty so 3 years total. You get one free replacement at any time during your warranty. Usualy the sales guy even tell you, "You can throw it up against a wall and bring it in and get a new one". So I only really pay for every OTHER PPC. I have an hx4700 right now and in 1.5 years I can break and take it back and get $600 store credit towards a new one! Since the hx4700 wont be around then I get credit. They DO NOT pick one for you.

YOU CAN RETURN IT WITHIN 90 DAYS TO ANYWHERE! OH AND SORRY, BUT EB HAS THE BEST WARRANTY. My PSP was scratched up, the case was cracked in two duifferent places, I had opened it and voided SONY's warranty, the brightness button stopped working, anmd some other littlw things. AnD I STIILL ZGOT TO TRADE IT INJ WITH MY WARRANTY!! I think $30 is pretty good to ensure a replacement of your PSP no matter wut happens!

No> The EB one is $30 to cover ANYTHING that the SONY FACTORY warranty doesnt cover. If SONY wont fix it, they will give u a brand new on. It goes for 1 year and ends once u use it.

THIS ONE COVERS EVERYTHING! I was justy pointing out how they are honest and will tell u not to use that warranty if SONY will cover ur problem And itsa the same as an extended warranty, but they dont fix up ur machine, they replace it which most of the time is better. The CompUSA one is different anyway, but I had missed what u wrote i that post, sorry. And how much does that warranty cost there anyway?

Because they make it as fair as possible the price is based on the item. The last item I bought was a WAP for $270. The warrenty was $35.

That's for TWO years :) Or one year for $18 (I think, I didn't pay too much attention to that one).

If you want to buy a psp goto costco, they've got the best warranty of em all! If It breaks just return It and get another one. If It was up to me as a gamer, when I worked and someone dIdn't lIke the game, and opened It up In front of me only to fInd It was the wrong one I would return It, but they would have to fIll out thIs log sheet. If I was to do It under the table we'd have a returned game, lost money, and lose even more money cause It's new but we'd have to market It as used. my ass would be grass In no tIme.

Sirocelot, how do you figure? all you need is a shrinkwrap system. wrap it back up and put it back on the shelf. hell, eb does that! egghead used to do that too. even best buy does it! they'll mark it down if the packaging got screwed up but if some shmuck in the computer department feels it looks like new they just put it back on the shelf full price. i cant count the number of times i'v bought something only to find it was "opened" on the inside.
