Computer Speakers with PSP

I was watching a movie i downloaded for psp but the max volume was barely audible. I wasn`t sure if it would work but i tried plugging my computer speakers right into the psp and it works just fine. Maybe this will be of intrest to someone...

Anything with a mini plug should work. Computer speaker plugs are just like headphone plugs so they should work.

One that same token if you have a car adaptor for a cd player you should be able to plug that into your psp and listen to your stuff in your car if you have a tape player in your car. Or if you have a cd player with a line in input you can buy a male-male mini plug cable and plug it into the line in.
But I wouldn't advise playing games while driving. Bad things may come of it ;)

It depends. Using speakers that require no power source, is just like muffling your earphones. You need amped speakers. SONY has a travel atereo speaker set that a bit bigger than the PSP that was made for MP3 and CD player on the go and would work great with the psp. I've thought of buying them hundreds of times, but still havent shilled out the cash for them.

I'm using my Creative Lab's Mega Works (300 watt) with sub. Its fun to play with if your at home. But something more portable is useful as well.

i just had the coolest idea. my canon powershot has video output so im just gonna point the camera at my psp and zoom in and walla. no quality loss and big size. plus i can hook my psp headphone jack to my amp so home theatre baby with no extra cost unless you dont have a digital camera with vid output

i tried and it rocks (i have a load bassy system in my room) also it works for my car, i have dual 12" subs each at 1000 wats, so output is 2000 wats of power and i play my games with extreme bass, i turns heads when i play Twisted Metal cuz it sounds so loud, it sounds like there is a real Twisted Metal competition going on aound that area :D

One thing i use to boost the audio of my psp is, i went out and bought a headphone plug to rca cable, so i can just plug it right in to the front of my surround sound system in my living room, or smaller stereo by my bed....Works great!

I plugged my computer speaker system for my computer, which is just a 2.1 but it sounds very nice, into my PSP and it sounded great. The stereo sound really makes the games sound better. I like to watch movies with it like that.
