yeah they got a new PiMP streamer too so u can watch avi,mpg,etc movies and keep em unconverted+ on your computer and watch them on the PSP.  the new versions alot less buggy so u can actually watch something w/ it and its really good quality.   With this I bet purty soon they'll be a way to play ISO's off your computer thru wifi instead of putting them on the MS lol

Wow I could have like 40 iso's open to my PSP at one time that would be awsome. Without
carrying the original UMD's around or the ISO's in my memory stick. Looking foward to

It seems that this is a very popular idea these days. To write such stuff, one would need
something like an ISO emulator which would load ISOs over a network server instead of
the MS. I would not bet on the stability of such a thing, but it looks doable, if someone
knows how to write an ISO emulator (which I do not :-)). Bear in mind though that games
may use the network for their own purposes (multiplayer games, etc.), so accessing the
network during a game doesn't look like a good idea. Probably the best thing to do would
be to store the ISO temporarily to the MS and then use a normal ISO emulator. You can do
this with FileAssistant, if you set up an FTP server with your (own) ISOs. It may take you
some time to store the ISO on the MS, but it won't be too long, plus it will for sure be more
stable than streaming the ISO in realtime during a game.

BTW, did any of you try out UmdNetRipper? Any comments? Did it work for you?

Maybe I did not say that in order to create a connection with a static IP
address on the PSP, you need to choose "infrastructure mode", which
means that you need to have (or to access) a wireless access point or
wireless router. It will not work in ad-hoc mode. Sorry. Other than that,
there are detailed instructions in "Readme.txt", please read and follow
them. Also, please let me know (on the thread or in a private message,
if you prefer to keep the noise down) what went wrong, what message
appeared on the PSP screen, etc.
