I had a psp and I had to replace the motherboard. I got a new one and it was a ta 81. and the 81 didn't work right with it. things were slower. it might have been a screwed up motherboard. it acted like it didn't have enough power to run the thing some times. the game were loading up slow and some games would not even come up. So could i get another motherboard or does it have to be a ta79
and why are people selling psp motherboards with out the lcd connector. can people still get the lcd to turn on some how. am i missing something???

It doesn't have to put specific. The PSP case is just a case. A TA-079, 81, 82, 86 can all be subs for a PSP Phat.

oh, on the topic of replacing mother boards, the lower power use..uhh, thing that the "newer" phat motherboards use ...(i completely phrased that sentence wrong..) could that cause any problems? thats what i was thinking about when i was reading the first post.
