I couldn't finish up my desired entry in time, what with being away from home for months on end  So an updated (perfected?) Minesweeper game will do.

Find the original article here:
http://www.neoflash.com/forum/index....ic,5308.0.html

Quote:
Project description: Here is a Windows Minesweeper clone featuring complete random minefields and includes the same difficulties as the one found on Windows, it also sports the same UI and colors and they work great on the PSP.

Features custom minefield size and mines as well as the original difficulty settings.

Controls:

Analog Stick - Move your cursor around at high speeds, useful for getting across the screen in a hurry
D-Pad - Move your cursor slowly to move from one spot to an adjacent one easier then with the analog stick

X - Click spot
[] - Place flag (signify a mine is there)
O - Move the grid down 1 spot (if you make a custom grid that is too big for the PSPs screen do this)
TRIANGLE - Move the grid up 1 spot (if you make a custom grid that is too big for the PSPs screen use this)
L trigger - Move the grid left 1 spot (same as above)
R trigger - Move the grid right 1 spot (same as above)
START - Reset the minefield and pick your difficulty or your own custom minefield
Home - exit

[DOWNLOAD]

The source is included, it uses OO C++ and Oslib.

Screenshots:

The source is free to use, I won't flip out if it is stolen but the respectable thing to do would be to mention my name.

Enjoy and comment ^^

P.S. Thanks slicer4ever for the screenshots, i <3 you
So now even minefields bigger then the PSPs screen are now playable, this will save me this weekend as i leave... AGAIN... to my damn lake cabin...

very nice sg=-), nice to know that instead of spending time at a cabin near a lake you prefer the 21st century over the 19th century=-):twothumbs: anywho i'll pop this on the memorystick and give it a try=-), gj

Nice, could do with some explosion noises though. Try the one from BOXHEAD

lol I thought someone might comment on that.

To be honest i was up there for like 2 weeks and the lake is boring when there is just you and your mom up there. Luckily my brothers and i had a friend come up after a week so i spent a week doin it. The weather was always overcast til the last day when we could actually swim for like 20 minutes :S

Scorpus ya i just cloned the windows version, i could make it like the vista one where i think there are explosions... In anycase i didn't have an updated version of oslib so my animation class wouldn't have worked :-\

whenever the source is made available I'd like to post this on the front page; it is definitely great for those who wish to learn from example. :twothumbs:
