Why does Tekken not play on Custom firmware?

I've upgraded and upgraded but Tekken still won't play no matter what I do. So please tell me why this is and what I could possibly do to fix it.

Tekken: Dark Resurrection ? or Tekken the PSX Game ?

Dark Resurrection and I'm on most current firmware. 4.01 M33-2

( I've not tried Tekken on 4.01 M33-2 but it should work fine )
Did you try changing your loader ?
Go into Recovery or VSH menu and select the Sony NP9660 loader and see if that helps

It might be a bad dump of the game if it is not working properly

Make sure that you have your umd iso mode set to sony np9660. with your psp on press select and the vsh menu will pop up

Scroll down with the d-pad untill you get to umd iso mode and press right until it says sony np9660. Go to cpu clock game and press right to 333/166.

hmmm .. i play tekken before and had nothing problem with it. when i playing tekken before i set my umd mode to no umd mode. try it if will it worked

I tried but it didn't work. The only thing I can think of is downgrading it. But I dunno. If it'll work or not.
