It’s basically nothing new or innovative but it was a game I wanted to make for a while. The goal? Just whack as many moles as possible while still alive (Yes, alive… Life meter was the first thing that came to mind so it’s still in game because I wasn’t able to figure out a different name. Just pretend every time a mole pops up it bites a piece of you, worked for me :D ). It might sound easy but you get tired (and bored? :D) very fast. Check it out and you’ll know what I mean.

Will test it out... But I see a possible innovative concept - instead of using X (or what ever key...) try seeing what it would be like to use with the thumbstick (with like pressure sensitivity, and then you could get bonus points with how 'hard' you hit a mole [how hard determined by how far pulled back on thumbstick - if pulled back at all]).

Then use the /\, [], O and X keys to move the highlighter (aim) around.

Thanks for your feedback.
Eleo I tried to use thumbstick for controling the hammer... It's not very confortable and you get tired veeeerryy fast. Doing it even more(for hitting moles) would be a paint I guess... And it would also be too easy to hit HARD(thumbstick is very sensitive). But I really liked that idea, will think about something like this in my upcoming projects.

Ok, to make it more interesting/fun how about making it so that some mole's (popping up randomly) will be faster than others for more points? Also how about -1 point for each *miss* - would cut down on button mashing ;)

I thought about giving points by how fast the mole pops up and how long it stays up but then I thought that would make the game even more random and some people despite getting to higher level will get less points.
-1 point for each miss is a nice idea but I think it would irritate people even more than it does now :D
I'm kind of bored with this project already and will not re-work it, but thanks for your ideas.

What projects you planning/working on for the future?

Wow, thanks. I never noticed this because I don't use standby feature while in game that often. Will try to fix it in the engine(JGE++) but it's not that awful for such a game I guess.
Well... I haven't really thought what to do next... I always wanted to make a Rubik's cube game just for fun... might add some interesting gameplay modes. Other than that nothing is really planned. I'll try to fix some problems with rendering in the engine and then will think about what to do next.
