can't make coldboot

so i got a original opening_plugin and opened it with RCO editor. than i wanted to replace the sony logo with an image i have. i wanted it to be the whole screen so i put it to 480x272. than i got a blank image. so i remembered to make it a bmp and a 4,8 or 32 bit, so i did and it was still not working. all i got was a white rectangle. than i saw the opening_plugin file was too big so i reduce the bit to 8 bit to make the fie smaller. it STILL didnt work. i am cureently trying to make a ctf with ctf manager by putting all the things i need into the vsh folder. than i use the ctf manager to creat a ctf file. i am cureently on 3.90m33 so could somone tell me how to fix this. its really buggin me :paranoid:

wow 480X272 no wonder you are getting a whitebox. Remove all shadows and glows in the opening plugin rco and get a smaller image a 480X272 will never happen.

i did what you told me to do make the image small and take out the shadows and glows. it didnt work. heres the picture i made it but i just cant make the oprning_plugin. http://www.sendspace.com/file/yhzp0u (the picture) could yhu please make me and opening_plugin, and if yhuu can make it the size of my psp screen. thanks.

and soory for not replying i was on a trip. :)

your alpha channel is set at black(transparency) it will then not show the coldboot text. If you want transparency and just the text delete the alpha channel. Erase the black background on your text and get it to a 300X80 canvas if you don't want channel as I said anything bigger will give you problems unless you reduce color thus messing up quality.

i used photoshop cs2 and unchecked all the transparency for you if not you couldn't say i did not try:D

i dont know what i'm doing wrong. i got the pic you put up and i replaced it but it stiil not working. i change the file into a bmp it didnt work, than kept it to a png still nothing. and after i changed the size and STILL nothing. :o i suck :sigh:
