Tutorial:Using Pandoras GUI

WELCOME!

Many People asked me to make a tutorial on how to make a pandoras battery and a Magic Memory Stick
Using this Software Pandoras GUI.So I made This Tutorial For Them.Hope Everyone Get What they need.

Requirements

* PC (Windows XP)

* A 1.5/CFW PSP

* PSP Memory Stick(pro duo is th best).minimum 64MB.Not Checked with 4GB Plus.

* Any PSP Battery(older the Better)

* USB Cable.

Once you got all this ready letz get to work
Now download these files

Just Back up all required files from your Memory Stick.

Now follow these steps

* Install Pandoras GUI

* Open Pandoras GUI


* Now for the 'locate 1.5 Sony Firmware Update'
Click on Local File and select the 1.5 eboot you just downloaded.

* Just Check whether the location of the 'PSP Memory Stick' is Correct.

* For the 'Target Folder' Click on PSP/GAME150.

* Next Click on 'Format My PSP'.
An Instruction Message will appear.
Click OK and Exit USB Mode.
Remove the Memory stick and reboot your PSP With the Memory Stick Back in.

* Enter USB Mode Again and Click on 'Copy Files'.
Again An Instruction Message will appear.
Click OK and Exit USB Mode.
Remove the Memory stick and reboot your PSP With the Memory Stick Back in.

* Leave your PSP Disconnected and in your PSP,go to GAME and then to Memory Stick.
You'll have 2 icons.click on the second one 'Pandora Installer'.(Dont Worry About the Corrupted Datas)

* Reconnect your PSP to your PC via USB Mode, and click on 'Write IPL'
Once this is done
An Instruction Message will appear again.
Click OK and Exit USB Mode.
Remove the Memory stick and reboot your PSP With the Memory Stick Back in.

* Leave your PSP Disconnected and go to GAME and then to Memory Stick.
Now Run the 'Pandoras Battery Creator'.
Once this is done,pat your back cause you are in the Possession of a Pandoras Battery and a Magic Memory Stick

Nowz the Main Part.
* Take out the Pandoras Battery you just created and Put it in the PSP in which you want to install CFW or UNBRICK it.

* Turn on the PSP and you should get a screen
Remember:If you want to convert your PSP Battery to a normal one Dont Forget to back it up with Eeprom first.
You can do that by pressing Triangle when you are on the Pandora Screen

* Once you have done that(If you wanted to) press x.
It will Install 1.50 on your PSP.

* Now IF you want to convert your Pandoras battery back to a normal one,you can do so by pressing L and R Simultaneously.

Now that you have 1.50 installed
Follow these Steps to Install the Latest CFW.

* First Download the 3.52M33 files n extract it from the link below

Go inside the "1.50only" folder and copy both kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% to X:/PSP/GAME and then execute the program through
the game menu on the PSP.
Copy the M33CREATOR folder to X:/PSP/GAME.
Now download the 1.50 and 3.52 official updates
http://www.psphero.com/
Place the two updates you downloaded in the M33CREATOR folder.
Navigate to the game menu on your PSP, and execute "3.52 M33 CREATOR."
Once finished, navigate to the game menu again and execute "3.52 M33UPDATE."
When finished, follow the on-screen prompt to reboot. That's it! You've now upgraded to 3.52 M33

* Now You are on 3.52M33,u cant directly go to 4.01M33
You must First go to 3.52M33-4 then to 4.01M33 and then to 4.01M33-2
Download 3.52M33-4 file here

Again place the UPDATE file in PSP/GAME

* Now you'll want to Upgrade to 4.01M33
Download the 4.01M33 file here
http://www.dark-alex.org/
and then download the 4.01 official sony update
http://www.us.playstation.com/PSP/About/SystemUpdate
Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
copy the 4.01 sony update(eboot file)and put it in same folder, with name "401.PBP".
Alternatively, you can let the installer to download for you via wifi.
Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.

* To Update to 4.01M33-2,Same Rule:
Download the 4.01M33-2 File here

Place the UPDATE Folder in PSP/GAME n run the UPDATE

CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE RUNNING THE LATEST FIRMWARE!!!!

are you serious? its a GUI so you wouldn't need a tut or anything. there are much easier ways to get to 1.5. like Hellcat's Pandora Installer. besides that good tut.

i followed instructions clearly but i got the Cannot start game error when starting installing firmware.
i made sure i was on 1.5 kernal but it still didnt work.
im on 3.90 m33-2
any other configurations to be done?
help is much appreciated :twothumbs:

Did you click on the 'Battery' Application or the 'Install Pandora'?
no need to be on 1.5 Kernel be on 3.90Kernel.
Make sure the Battery you want to Pandorise is over 78% Charge.

i have the 3.93 version (the one i got from playstaion.com) and i get the same error message after doing this and my battery is fully charged! :(

You will get more help if you post in the Help section

AND you fail the requirements. You don't have: * A 1.5/CFW PSP
