rename your background to 1-12.bmp

and replace it in your flash0 .. it will over right the default one ..

then just go to themes and your wallpaper should be there .. select it and your waves will appear on top of it.

ok, i tried that, only to overwrite i had to name it to 01-12.bmp, not 1-12.bmp....

also, when i do it, all i get is a pure white background, nothing else, it seems like it tries to load it as the first one under default, as it takes and extra half a second there, but there is actually nothing there...

any more help is appreciated

alright, i shrunk my background down to the same size as the original (60x34), and now it works, but looks like shit...

the file is a 480x272 jpg, which i converted to a bmp, but at full resolution, it will not work as my background, and shrunk down looks really pixelated...

any ideas to get it to work in full resolution?

350x198 seems to be the highest resolution possible.

yeah... make the backgrounmd a little bit smaller than 480 x 272. maybe around 464 x 266 (or something like that). Also, show us the picture you want as a bg.

The white screen isn't caused by the size of the 01-12.bmp

The white screen is common the first time you write a custom 01-12.bmp
to flash.

Go to your theme settings, even if the screen is white, and pick the first one under original.

Exit theme settings. Hold up on your power switch and shut your psp down.

When you power on you will see the background.

If you get "white boxes" around your network icons, try reducing the image size to 460x261 or 350x198
