fMSX PSP v3.5.41 Released
greg | March 19, 2010
Akop with a quick fix for the JP button mode users of fMSX v3.5.40… You would’ve only noticed a problem when trying JP mode, so if you haven’t, then don’t worry about it — version 3.5.41 isn’t for you. But should you want it anyway, then here you go: Akop’s fMSX PSP. You know it’s awesome… Metal Gear and many other bomb ass titles were established on this computer back in the ’80s. The 80s; the MSX/MSX2; Metal Gear; c’mon…
fMSX PSP v3.5.41:

I been a loyal PSP-hacks fan for years and this is my first ever “first post” (if that makes any sense). I never understood why it was so special and I still don’t up to this day.
Why was it special? Let’s see: Dragon Quest, Gradius, Parodius, Twin Bee, Aleste (MUSHA in the US), Puyo Puyo, Columns, Zanac, Snatcher, Metal Gear, and many others, either made their first appearence on the MSX, or had great versions. Not to mention some really great exclusives, such as king’s Valley, Guardic, Legend of Heroes, Laydock, to mentio just a few. Maybe you don’t care for those games, but the MSX system was a milestone on computer gaming in Japan, Europe and South America, and it’s more than worth keeping an emulator around.
I think he meant he never understood why writing the first post was special… In order to try to understand why people’d think MSX is special, it’d take someone to think it’s special in the first place, which nobody does! ;D
msx was very popular in argentina in the 80′s. i recommend salamander. the msx version is more complex than the arcade one. my other favorites: knightmare, maze of galious, metal gear, adventure antartic, f1 spirit, super laydock, konami’s soccer (the first pes ever made), king’s valley, etc…
