PSNKiller v1.0 Released; Get On PSN All Over Again

Kickin’ up dust is KiNgOfUnIvErS and his PSNKiller plugin. Now contrary to the name, PSNKiller doesn’t kill anything, in fact it brings life and joy by enabling online PSN play for select titles, much like Red Hate and Smokin’s PSNABLER.
Best of all — PSNKiller reportedly works with WPA-encrypted networks; something PSNABLER had a problem with. But if it ain’t one thing, it’s a-mother-fuckin-nother… According to the FAQ, 5.50 GEN-D3 users — things may not go as planned. If you get this error, “You Must Login to PSN” and when you try there’s another error, then you need to do the following (at your own risk):
- Downgrade to 5.50 GEN-D2
- Login to PSN on 5.50 GEN-D2
- Boot to the recovery console and connect USB on Flash1
- Copy the “registry” folder to your PC
- Upgrade to 5.50 GEN-D3 again
- Boot back to the recovery console and connect USB Flash1
- Copy the “registry” folder that you backed up in step 4 to Flash1 overwriting it
- Try getting online now.
Otherwise install PSNKiller like you would any other plugin. Copy the “PSNKiller” directory to the root of your memory stick and add the appropriate line to ms0:/seplugins/game.txt.

5.50 GEN I’m pretty sure is blocked from PSN. I can’t even get past the first screen, it denies it altogether. PSNabler I’m pretty sure doesn’t work with it anymore either.

Because its getting your log in info from the registry. Its unique per user/system.

Actually staying on m33 is alot easier for me. i can still play all my games. its less buggy than gen and i get to keep all my themes. I dont know why people say that GEN is the “easy way” when you lose all your m33 themes, most of the games are buggy and most plugins dont work well.
I haven’t really experienced any bugs on Gen and I’ve been using it since it came out. I’ve been playing the latest games on it. m33 themes are old. the firmware is old. Logic. Why stick with it? It’s like playing gameboy. Oh right i forgot. That’s why people stick with M33. They play OLD games! LMFAO!
Just because you have the latest firmware doesn’t give you the right to talk out of your ass. Move along, GEN fanboy.
I used GEN for a long time. It is quite buggy. It also corrupted the save file of my favorite game that I put 70 hours into. So I decided to go back to M33 for a while. At least until something comes out that doesn’t corrupt my save files.

For people which can not save PSN account on XMB, (error 805F0007), simple go to recovery menu and set “m33 network update” to “disabled.
It’s confirmed that on GEN-C 5.03 this solution works, if anyone can test it on GEN-D3 5.50, post results here..
GEND3 dont have “M33 NETWORK UPDATE”
D3 added it in, under the recovery menu it used to say (in D2 and below) NOT YET but now its back to normal but it still says M33 and yes you can update GEN firmware via network update which is useless atm coz there is no other firmware to upgrade too. Coz of $0ny$ PSN block for some reason i get the same error message when i look for an update as i do trying to log into the PSN.
Actually, even in D3, the M33 update option still says “Not Yet” and is impossible to change.
Works on gen d3! I tried it out and I was able to log into my existing psn account through the store. =)

It works, I can log in. But both Resistance and Motorstorm don’t show any games.
Hello again. I need some help. I downgraded to D2 for this Plug-In. But now, I can’t connect to my W-LAN network anymore. It always stucks on “Exchanging key information” and begins over and over again. I’m pretty sure that i typed the right W-LAN key in, i made it about 6 times. Without ínternet, there is no login to PSN. Please help! :-(
This happened to me as well. The key was selecting (AES) instead of (TKIP). That seemed to work.
Thanks. I’ve tried all WPA-Standards twice but it won’t work. If you can think about another possible solution, please tell me :-(

Copy UniPSNKiller.prx into seplugins. Then add the line “ms0:/seplugins/UniPSNKiller.prx” to GAME.txt and enable it in recovery.

for ftb 3 players i think ur out of luck i just previously got my psp hacked (m33 ftw) but before i hacked my psp i saw something in the psn store it was an online enabler for ftb3 that you need to download and i think that is whats causing your problems and it costs money to download

question I’m a huge m33 fan and can do just bout anything a Gen-D firmware fan can do is there really a reason to upgrade cuz personally I adore m33 !
merge the PSN enabler with this so its simpler and works for more games, its better to have 2 people working on one program that to have 2 people working on differnt programs that do the same thing at a slower rate, team these people up!

wait wait wait… So will this only allow you to go online to only play multiplayer on games over psn only or can you access the psn store as well So confused and followed multiple instructions and not able to log into psn store.

ummmm… look like not so many people is updated with Socom Fire team bravo 3… Sony have implemented a new way to prevent piracy with Bravo 3. to play online, you need to purchase voucher from psn for $20.

Don’t be ridiculous… It’s not agains piracy, it is for same reason for what PSP Go doesn’t have UMD – Because sony don’t want loose money when people sell used games on UMD to another people…

Even s0ny admits its an attempt to stop piracy! Its not what i think its what i know! Do some research and see for yourself!
Logically, it has nothing with piracy, it’s only attempt to stop selling using games – in other words Sony want get more and more money from people.
If you guys will start using your brains think about this – there was not psnkiller plugin when Socom3 come up, so even if you have piracy version of your game and you want go play online, you will see error message that you need upgrade your firmware and nobody who is using piracy games won’t do that, so buying coupon for online gaming have no sense for people using piracy games.
Again, Sony want beat more and more money from people, with this coupon or with PSP Go where you can not sell used games.

This plugin only allows you to access PSN in-game. Like Resistance:Retribution and other games that require you to use PSN to login. Not access the actual store. You can use either a PS3, or MediaGo! for that.
i know that i can’t access the PS store from XMB signed in, but the instructions say that i have to sign in from GEN 5.50 D2, and then copy registry from flash1 to flash1 of GEN 5.50 D3! maybe i got it wrong… :/

try going back to m33 ( using the test m33 feature with xgen pandora v5 or dcv8)
You need do this only to save your login details into PSP, nothing more, when your details are saved you can play games.
i downgrade it to 5.50 gen d2,but after i upgrade to gen 5.50gen d3,problem appear,it went on black screen when i upgrade 5.50gen d3 and the upgrade is unsucess

@psp_dude. i downgraded to 5.50gend2 got registry and updated back to 5.50gend3 and copy registry back then i downloaded pspkiller and put the file in the root of memory stick and put that info in game.txt that is suppose to be in sepluggins folder

better idea top screwing around with these apps and get friggen 6x cfw out that where most game bugs come from is due to the fact any firmware cfs is old and buggy on new games.
Downgraded to d2, backuped registry, upgraded… and replaced the files, after reboot it freezes and then shutsdown. Anyone else has this problem? PHAT PSP-1000

Also, when i put the D2 registry folder onto D3, and i exited recovery, my PSP would load up, load the clock/date bar, and then it would freeze.
Oh, and when i’m on GEN D3 without the D2 registry, I try going online on LittleBigPlanet, but it says that I need to sign on, so I try logging into the PSN store, but THAT says:
“Currently, the server may be down for maintenance or updating. Please try again later. (20000001)”
Go to recovery menu -> configuration and set “m33 network update” to disabled and set if this not help in recovery menu – advanced select Format flash 1 and reset settings, after that again check if m33 network update is Disabled.

Sony fixed that. now even on the d-2 or anything else says you need yo update to use psn and create a name or log in. Also I have a valid entitlement code and created an account for socom 3 that can log in using 6.20 psp’s but the moment i try to log into custom firmware gives me errors or something else ……
Sony fixed nothing, you only need in XMB save your email and password, of course it won’t let you go to PSStore, but you don’t need this, you only need STORE your psn account, then you can play games with psnkiller.

i keep one of psp with dax’s M33 just so i can use irshell and play games via Nethost off my Pc
(usb connections works but for wireless there is still no patch for that on Gen)

Actually all you have to do is Click on sign-up for PSN on the VSH, then go to existing account and put in your username and password then click remember details or whatever it is called. Then extract the PSNKiller folder to seplugins and add the plugin to game.txt. Then you are finished.

i just tested it on my 2k worked fine didnt have to downgrade to d2.. havent played my resistance online since october on my 3k good to see that the devs are still bringin things out… much love to you all..

Hi, a did not downgreaded to D2, i have and had D3… the only thing i needed to do is to use DEbug type 1 in region select on recovery menu… it worked fine… but today a can not login into PSN (motorstorm) its showing me error (uneable to login fatal error)enybody help? :D

desktop(xmb). Put save password. It will ask you to login a second time (this time with the transparent gray background). Now start your game. Access network. It will ask for your login. You could put automatic login. You are now online. :)

I have tried the same thing, but after a time motostorm stoped working (other games were ok) so i restarted flash 1…
now i have another problem i can not login error: 80410411 :/ what should i do?

Every time i start up fat princess[EUR]it log ins just fine but when i join a game it just either says searching and cannot find a match or says game found but then ends up with the same “there are no games at the moment message”
has anyone managed to get motorstorm online cause i managed to play pixeljunk online i can sign in but in motorstorm it says a system software update is required wich sucks cause motorstorm is the only reason why i want this to work so anyone managed to get it to work i have a psp 1000 phat with cfw 5.50 gen-d3

For those of you still beating up yourselves just go to recovery menu and change your region to debug type1 its as simple as that. After that you can now make a psn account.

Man i really need some help here, New to the psp scene, went and got me a 1001 and cracked it.
Been playing for a few days and found a few games i thought would be fun to play online… face it fat princess kicks ass… anyways i did everything this page said to, downgraded to d2 copied reg folder over to pc, upgraded back to d3, copied reg folder back over to flash1… now my psp just turns on boots into the main screen no icons and freezes right away and then turns off after a min… has anyone had this happen? is my psp a brick now??? I am very unhappy right now… not being able to go online was anoying… not having a psp is well shitty :(
