OSLib MOD v1.1.1 Released

greg | February 26, 2010

Develop on this: Sakya’s OSLib (Old School Library) MOD v1.1.1. Whether you’re an experienced or aspiring PSP developer, you should check this out.

OSLib provides a simple means of rendering 2D graphics, implementing Ad Hoc support, intraFont support, using the integrated Sony OSK, web browser, and the list goes on… Several samples are included to get you started.

Once you’re all coded up, feel free to send us what you got.

OSLib MOD v1.1.1:

  • Added sfont (see the sfont sample in the samples directory)
  • Added net functions (from PGE LUA). See net.h
  • Added oslDrawStringLimited (limit a string blit to a fixed width)
  • Fixed loading an intraFont using Virtual fileSystem
  • Fixed bugs by STAS (many thanks)

If anybody is going to use the ad-hoc coding, then can I ask as a request for gba or others for ad-hoc communication?

  2. JC says:

i demand someone to make a bloons tower defense game for the psp.

  3. Xplosiv says:

yeah GBA ad-hoc would be nice… especially for those pokemon games xD… im not requesting but if someone does it then i would be in love..

  4. LR says:

GBA AD-Hoc on emulators will probably never happen. It would be too much work to do, emulating the GBA link hardware to PSP hardware and then to work wirelessly. Its possible, sure, but I doubt it would happen.

Now, for a actual homebrew like Pokemon Worlds, I can see it.

this is my first time seeing this app. but where should i put this? in ms0 only? :D tnx!
