Rcomage v1.0.2 & CTF Tool GUI v3.7 Released
greg | January 10, 2010
Two updated tools for those specializing in the PSP custom theming trade: ZiNgA BuRgA’s Rcomage and patpat’s CTF Tool GUI.
First up: Rcomage v1.0.2, which was released back in December, so consider us fashionably late on this one. Nevertheless, here it is with the accompanying screenshot and changes…
Second: patpat’s all-new CTF, and now PTF supporting, Tool GUI v3.7… My only concern with this release is: where’d the English GUI go? Correct me if I’m wrong but that was usually included, no? Anyway, if you’re an English reader and you’re using this app, you can use the screenshot below as a general guideline to what’s what.

Change logs and downloads…
Rcomage v1.0.2:
- statically link all libraries; also now built with MinGW so MSVC runtime no longer required
- include required DLLs with GimConv
- fixed bug in GUI where it didn’t chdir across drives
- partially removed annoying auto-fill for dumping RCOs for GUI
- fixed crash where bad label reference was supplied
- add like two additional warnings
- add ability to select zlib compression options from CLI
- partial support for reading big-endian (PS3?) RCOs; it’s “partial” as there are still issues – mainly object handling is mostly stuffed up
- fix regression in earlier update which broke VSMX dumping
- minor changes to XML format
- apply hack which hopefully fixes up GimConv converting from some GIMs
- and if the above still causes GimConv to freeze, added a timeout to try to not cause Rcomage to lock up as well
- added “vagenc” and “vagdec” functions if you happen to want to convert a .vag file
- added “extract” function (not 100% complete)
CTF Tool GUI v3.7:
- unpack ptf file (auto associated in windows), but not PTF version from “Custom Theme Converter V1.0.0.0″)
- drag & drag support for PTF to CTF conversion, but not PTF version from “Custom Theme Converter V1.0.0.0″)
- add batch unpack for CTF files
- add 5.03 conversion
- fixed 500 to 550 conversion failure in English UI
- fixed text data size not updated after RCO file decompression
- other fixes

seriously, if you wanted to embarres yourself, then by all means go and do it on another site..some indiivduals actually enjoy Dash hacks and the information they provide..
Go be a lunatic, somewhere else..
I mean really dont you have any self pride.
Btw..it just goes to show how many individiuals find themeing enjoyable..
Don’t doubt the psp community..
Don’t mind him, AK93…I mean, why stress yourself up over some people who really ARE loony? This world really houses many weird people…=\
Either ways, this one is good now I can make more of my own anime/manga themes…=D

Ye i would have to agree with, i shouldn’t stress myself.
And yes agreed, this is a nice update, i am themer too, and i quite enjoy making a quite astonishing theme related to all the anime i watch from a simple idea. I’ve made a few so far using this tool. Going to start more soon.
