PSNabler Final Released

Rewritten in a modular-type fashion is PSNabler Final by RedHate & Smokin. No more plugin updates, unless of course it’s to correct any core bugs. What do you think of that, Taki? ;)
One more time: PSNabler enables PSN access for select games when using a hacked or custom firmware loaded PSP.
Game patches are now distributed and loaded separately from the plugin itself. There’s also a new installer app to ensure things are installed and configured correctly. You can always fetch the latest game patches right here at aiolab.com. Download the .bin file and copy it to your ms0:/seplugins/psnabler directory. It’s that simple.
Also, for all those peeps experiencing problems, it’s been noted that WPA-TKIP encrypted networks do not work with this plugin; try WEP instead.
Note: uninstall/remove any earlier versions of PSNabler before using PSNabler Final.

Yeah, says the plugin wasn’t designed to hold your hand but it comes with an installer?? Wow… I think this is the first plugin I’ve ever seen that does that… Too bad CXMB never had one (because it refused to work until I created a “CXMB” folder in the root of my memory stick).
This way it’s truly “fool proof”. Make that FOOL proof in capital letters. I mean… HOW DUMB do you have be to not to manage linking a .prx file to GAME.txt?
WTF! It still wont boot any of my umd’s when launching LBP the screen flashes pink then stays black and my psp powers off >.>
use the m33 driver in your vsh menu dude, it requires the m33 driver or it will just power off on you :(

Yes this is correct, LBP will work *IF* you use something other than WPA (WEP or unsecured).
Although the readme now says WPA doesn’t work at all, I can confirm it works for Pixeljunk, Thexder Neo, and Motorstorm at least.
Luckily for me I have an extra access point set up with WEP that I can just enable when needed, but I don’t recommend any of you use WEP 24/7, it’s highly insecure and hackable.
Anyway for LBP, what we really need is for somebody to zip up the update files downloaded using OFW 6.20 and see if the rest of us can use them. Otherwise LBP isn’t going to be playable on CFW regardless of this plugin.
Just out of curiosity, why is WEP so unsecured?

hey guys it took me awhile but if you have WPA or any other connection type that isn’t WEP, then you have to change it. so to change it you have to go to your network configuration site on the address bar on your Internet browser. it will look like, for example, http://123.456.7.890 . you can find this address by looking for it on your wireless connection box. (idk what its called, i forget, but its the thing that gives you wi-fi) it will probably say “for advanced configuration:.” then, once your there go to settings and change it to WEP instead of WPA for example. little big planet works for me perfectly, but for some reason i cannot get the update for it to actually play the online. if anyone could go through the trouble and post a new link to the game patches for this, i would very much appreciate it. thank you.

Its a patch to the game but it can only be accessed in the xmb with OFW 6.10+ So far there is no work around for this. I am trying to figure it out but its gonna take time.
I guess the obvious thing is to get the update files from a OFW PSP and see if they can be transplanted to another PSP. If the files have a signature that locks them to a specific PSP (likely), then I guess a patcher would be needed, *if* somebody wanted to bother.

Can’t seem to get this plugin to work. The psnabler v3 worked before, but the newer version from v4 and above doesn’t seem to work for me. I am on psp slim 5.50gen-d3. Any suggestion?

finally! the final version worked for me, i think that bin folder really helped, thanks to the devs who made this!

Yeah, my game says i need to update to a newer version and doesnt lets me go online. Thats inside LBP. Theres a new version of the game for what i found. Maybe theres a way to fake the game version inside the ISO, but i have no idea about that.

can be the problem, if game has patched eboot.bin and/or game was ripped (for example ripped update), can be this reason why psnabler not work?
for me still not work for LBP, I know game will ask for update anyway, but I still have message that I need update PSP, I have 5.03 MHU and LBP has patched eboot.bin

What wifi connection type you are using? WEP? WPA-TKIS? WPA-AES?
WEP, and I already tried with LBP and MotorStorm and doesn’t work. I have made all right, I followed the readme but stilll can’t make it to work
Try Resistance Retribution, it works. If it won’t work you will know for sure that it’s your local problem, because I just tested it and it still works.
LBP is not working as game require Update (update of game, not of PSP) and you can do update only original UMD version (for now).

Everyone! Little Big Planet works for me! Why? I dunno:
I was modding my psp to m336 when suddenly, I remembered my PSP is OFW 6.10! When It’s finished modding it worked fine! It didn’t brick! I know it’s impossible but it happened anyway! So then I updated to 5.50 Gen D3 and it still works because I have some of the 6.10 registry! Hallaluha!
