Popsloader Extractor v0.02 Released

Xenon with a little something to help get your PSOne/POPs emulation game on… No more digging tediously through firmware dumps trying to locate the necessary files. Popsloader Extractor simplifies the whole POPs preparation process.
Popsloader Extractor v0.02 will decrypt and extract the required PRX modules from Sony firmware EBOOTs; it will also copy these files to the proper directory on your memory stick.
You can find the supporting firmware EBOOTs right here… Download, rename, and copy to your memory stick root. Each firmware EBOOT should be named <VERSION>.PBP.
For example 3.52 becomes 352.PBP, 4.01 becomes 401.PBP, and so on… Once you’ve done that, load Popsloader Extractor and you’re all set.

So what does this do differently from the normal popsloader? It finds the proper firmware automatically?
it just simplifies the whole preparation process for pops
all this does is speed up the process of gettign the files for popsloader (allthrough most will just download the zipped file with everything in it of youtube)
i think id rather they made a new popsloader plugin to allow later pops versions than this
in the forums, bestyugiman has a file uploaded with all of the POPS files compiled in one place..

Is there files for the 5.00 version of pops?
I’m running 5.50-genD3 and I read that FF8 works best with 5.00. But when I use pops loader I can only choose from 4.01 and lower.
Gen hasnt made a current popsloader for 5.50, for now you’ll have to use the older pops
So, what does this mean? Can we get the popsloader of Firmwares 5.50 and up? ‘Cause, I have a 3000 and the highest popsloader version I have is 5.03.

Put this in latence terms PLEASE. Most people don’t know why they should get this instead of regular popsloader, me being one of them.
this isnt a popsloader, this program only exracts the files from older firmwares that pops needs to use.

Bassically you download all of the Updates needed for popsloader and instead of you manually decrypting them one by one and copy and pasting the right file outta the dump to the correct folder, it does it for you.
speakin of pops.. anyone ever get star wars episode 1 the phantom menace psx2psp to run successfully on a psp? it always freezes for me
