DayViewer V6.1 Released
greg | December 18, 2009
It’s time to get ill. Oh, and it’s Friday, December 18th too. You know this because Total_Noob shows this à la screenshot… DayViewer v6.1; customize the XMB date and time string to the fullest. You can add the battery percentage too.

DayViewer V6:
- Added compatibility with unicode (special characters).
- Added possibility to show seconds.
- Added support for all cfws (3.71 and higher).
- Added compatibility with YYYY/MM/DD date format.
- Fixed the bug that made the XMB slow.
- Fixed time format 12, now it shows correctly.
- Fixed bug of battery percent, now it doesn’t show a bunch of weird numbers if you resume from standby mode.
- Fixed incompatibility with other plugins (PSPConsole, XMBEL, …).
- Rewritten config code.

First >.>
You non contributing douchebag. Yea well all know your first. The first guy in your family to come out of the closet.
HAHAHA! Omg that made me lol so hard.
Thanks :D
Why is Friday trademarked?
just showcasing its abilities I guess… that you can add special characters now.
Friday belongs to Total_Noob, he bought it along with 20% of the moon
Fail…
I thought it was pretty funny. :|
lol that was funny
But i tried so hard ;_;
Love it!
My only complaint with it was that bug where the battery indicator turned into a whole load of random numbers.. But now, That’s gone! ..
I’ve got no complaints now, Absolutely perfect & the added “seconds” indicator is awesome.
Thanks!
I’m confused on the vhs.txt file, I couldn’t find it. I’m not sure if there’s something to be installed or run first. I love the program and hope to get it running on my PSP. Great work !!
it’s vsh.txt don’t forget it thats VSH.TXT
if you dont have one in yous seplugins then that means you should make one..
just make a txt file and rename it to vsh.txt
then copy the ‘ms0:/seplugins/dayviewer.prx 1′ (without the ‘) in it..and your done
That’s weird. It didn’t seem to work for me in my PSP-1000 running 5.50 GEN-D3. Nothing shows up. No percentage, month or anything. Just the default.
Pretty awesome.
umm, just one question, can i see the percentage within playing a ISO or PSX game? or CSO?
Unfortunately, no.
well thanks for replying, but any ideas if its possible for a future update? cuz i like the idea, but im barely ever in the menu, i just pick the game i want an play, so it be useless for me if its not in game…
Ya same here. I wanna know if I can still see the date and battery percentage when I press the Start button while playing a game.
The date and battery percentage can’t be seen while in-game, only in the XMB.
Hope they add that feature soon :)
pspfan, i think u mean HOME…. o.O
DayViewer is the second best plugin for me; the first is Game Categories.
Though, I wish, that in the next version, Total_Noob would use Linux’s strftime in the configuration file.
e.g.
FORMAT = “%a | %y.%b.%d | %T |”
would give you:
SAT | 09.DEC.19 | 1:08:37 PM | 100% [||]
That way, there is no need for “Yes” and “No” options, just a single string to determine what shows or not.
Thank you for this awesome plug-in, Total_Noob.
How can you install this?
Thank you so much.
Perfect!!!!
with the Firday trademarked… is there a way to turn it off or not to have it there?
No, the trademarked is just on the screenshot to show that’s possible to display special chars.
Total_Noob
Total_Noob,
It doesn’t seem to be working on my PSP-1000 running 5.50 GEN-D3. Yeah, I’ve put in dayviewer.prx and also the “ms0:/seplugins/dayviewer.prx 1″ in vsh.txt.
Could something be wrong here?
Its alright, I got it to work. Was just the config txt file acting up. I didn’t want to reconfig the whole thing again, so I cut and pasted the text from the old one into the new one.
I decided to just copy it over and reconfig then, voila! It worked! Ah well..Thanks for this cool app anyways, Total_Noob! Keep up the good work! =D
Oh yeah, you forgot to add in the config txt file, the ability of whether to show DAY or not. I think so.
Can you change the color of the font on this? This doesn’t work well with a few wallpapers I have.
awesome plugin!
now with seconds indicator, even better!
thank you total noob!!!
Awesome update and great job with the plugin. Downloading now :D
he dont schow the time duration for the batery
fuckin pig ass!!this plugin is awesome.great job total noob..
The plugin is real cool when its used without psp console…
when psp console is switched on the psp fails to start..
pls help ..
Yay! I can even write the days and months in Greek now! ;-) Thanks Total_Noob!
total_noob if you are reading this now.
Please can you add a function show that it still can still see the battery percentage while in game. (pressing the home button)
You know how you have vsh.txt? Try creating another one callled game.txt like how you would for NitePR/DayPR/CoderPR. I think it should, SHOULD work.
I haven’t tried it yet, cause DayViewer V6.1 doesn’t seem to be working on my PSP now. But I will come around to doing so after I have got it to work. =)
Scrap that idea. Doesn’t work at all. Ah well.
I got DayViewer to work finally, if you were wondering. =D
Wow! An option to display the seconds?! That’s so awesome!
