Ha! This is a pretty cool little app. I’d like to see more off-the-beaten path homebrew like this one, to be honest. One gets tired of seeing Emulators and Media Players after a while. :P
Definitely going to put this on my PSP.
I’d like to clarify: I meant that I’m tired of seeing NOTHING BUT Emulators and Media Players. Not by seeing those things in and of themselves.
It isn’t compatible with dayviewer (latest version)…
i use the latest dayvieuwer and this app! It works fine!
If I have both enabled the upper row shows only the battery sign…

I wouldn’t mind seeing this adapted at some point to better integrate with the PSP’s UI. Perhaps pop up an alert screen (like the ‘Game could not be started’ alerts) with a random fact every time you enter the XMB.
Looking forward to seeing where this is going, I just may use it one day.

Once you reset your PSP a new random fact comes up, so it isn’t really daily.
doesn’t work. Configured in vsh.txt and all, and it still doesn’t work. Maybe it’s my CXMB…
I use CXMB as well. Did you press both the triggers when attempting to display text on the XMB?
can get all this dumb little stuff but can’t get anyone to update the universal remote controlapp for the psp 1000′s to work with 5.50gen d2 LOL
Use iRshell v5.0. Patch it for 5.50 and run it.

actually i have tried patching it with ir shell and running it. it still dosen’t work it gives off the same error code as when trying to launch it from the XMB and dosen’t work with any firmware past 3.71 it would be nice to update it miss using my psp to control tvs and that
You don’t run universal remote control, you use iRshell itself…
