yep its definetly true and its running at beta test stage,
they have a modified umdgen, (which is to be released at the same time as the emulator) and with this you can modify the ps2 iso, relink movies, remove padding etc but it also can patch the iso to run on the psp emulator, and compress to cso
the emulator can run the ps2 games at full speed because it doesn’t read and therefore doesn’t display all the polygon data – there is more to it than that but i dumbed it down for all you 12 year olds on here

the problem on 5.03 GEN-B for PSP ta-088v3 & PSP 3000 is when you drain your battery or your psp crashes you need to run chickHen again. i guess they can’t really flash permanent custom firmware on ta-088v3 & PSP 3000.

Its already been decrypted buddy. There’s PPF patch The_Android(pspiso.com) worked on to make Tekken 6 work on CFW 5.00 and up

Seriously so many posts about Tekken 6 when it was working fine way before those posts, btw Tekken 6 sucks! Play a real fighter like Street Fighter Alpha 3, Soul Calibur Broken Destiny, Dragonball Z shin Budokai 1 or 2 and Guilty Gear.

You need to do a couple of things before installing GenD3
Scroll down and press the pinkish arrow that says telecharger, but i think you’ll need an account.

and there is a direct link to the download.
I updated and it says Gen (Full) is it supposed to say that or is it supposed to say Gen 3?
It says Gen (full) on phats, and Gen-D3 on slims. Same firmware though.
y i cant upgrde to gen-d3 ? mine currently 5.50 gen-b(full) . im on psp phat . when i run the update gen-d3 from the game menu….it turns blank….i try again still the same problem….
For all those PS2 cant run on the PSP. I care to differ was not YS Ark of Napishtim a transfer from the PS2 to the PSP. It was jumpy but I do beleive that sony does have the meens to convert the PS2 games to PSP.

Remote play.. private network working fine between ps3 and psp. What about internet? it said required to update firmware. I am using 5.50 Gen-D3. i usually bring my psp to work that have wifi access through to my home ps3. Movies are the best on psp for kill time at work. :) If you guys have any idea how this thing work about remote play through internet? let me know thanks
